Agree with the second part. I'm sure he doesn't want to make excuses, and that's fine. But 8 false starts? 3 of which by your 2X Pro Bowl RT Brian O'Neill? A guy who had two false starts over 17 games in 2023? Two in 2024? That guy has three in one game? No, something screwed them up.

I thought I read recently that a lot of that was on the QB...Sounds like there were quite a few meetings and time put against trying to solve that problem this week.

I think getting Kelly back will help #9 out quite a bit.

It does seem like a situation of two contrasting tales. I suspect that part of it is KOC not wanting to admit that the Ravens could spoof JJM and the o-line, because that'd be enormous egg on all their faces. On the other hand, it seems obvious that there's some connection between the penalties and our young QB.

Just so they fix it, I don't need to know. If they win this Sunday and look more solid again, we'll largely forget those penalties pretty quickly.
OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

I just assumed it was McCarthy and perhaps the difference in cadence with Wentz.  I would be interested to know when most of these happened, just too lazy to look it up right now.  To my eye JJ looked rattled or just had a different look in his eye the third and fourth quarters.  Kind of looking forward to looking back on it as one of those things that was part of the growing pains.  Hope I got enough time for that.

I think JJ mentioned he was not consistent in his cadence.  So there was something on JJ, but I still think Baltimore was doing something as well.
