He might be small, but he's slow? I keep hearing how fast this kid is. His specs—5-8, 186, 4.52 forty—don't really support that. Shifty though, and his burst looks good.

Maybe a case of play speed vs timed speed?

Or he just ran a bad 40. He looks faster on the field than 4.52.

He does seem faster on the field for sure. Is it just me though or do small players typically look like they are running faster than they really are lol.

I'm a Husker fan and when he played, Hill stood out for sure. Eagles drafted DT Ty Robinson, I could see both guys sticking in the league for a bit, relative to their draft position (or not in Hill's case). A handful of other Husker players are getting looked at by NFL teams this year, but at least in college, Hill and Robinson showed the most pro potential to me. LB Bullock was a player in college but not sure if he has NFL game. Tampa is an interesting landing spot for him though, behind LaVonte David.

I am really high on Robinson. I think he will be a good player in the NFL. For the Vikings I see 4 players from the UDFA list that stand out. Batty, Bolden, Yurosek, and Brosmer.

I think Bolden has a good path to the roster if he can be a ST player. If he wants it, he will make an impact there and be on the 53. Yurosek the Vikings really like, brought him in for a top 30 visit. I have been saying he can play the position. Fundamentals are really good, and he has a lot of talent. Brosmer, I believe he can be the 3rd QB or at worst PS. Let's be honest here, we have Rypien... KOC will have fun with Brosmer.

I think Bolden has a really good chance to win the punt return job. I don't think anyone we have can do what he does. I think Isaiah Rodgers will compete with Chandler for the KR job.

We have needed to upgrade the PR job for a while now. I agree if he can secure that and be a impact player on ST that he will make the team. I like Bodlen. Good take with the Rodgers and the KR job. I see this being a fun camp to watch unfold.

Ourlads actually has Rodgers ahead of Chandler on the depth chart at KR.  I get the feeling that we'll replace Chandler as a better alternative becomes available before the season.

Without a track background or coaching he probably didn’t max out. If a fast playing guy runs slowish you go back to the tape and verify if getting caught from behind is an issue.

I have a good friend who is a Nebraska grad and huge fan. He seems pretty lukewarm to Hill but we shall see. I think he’d tell you he views prospects from a glass half empty prospective. I’m pretty stoked especially since we’ve got 3 UDFA on D already.

In BFlo we trust.
