Stay safe!

Nothing like a raging inferno to put a football game in perspective.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those people impacted by this disaster. A game means nothing when put into perspective.
From personal experience, I was serving in the military in Vietnam in 1971 when three or four Vikings players came over to our basecamp on a USO tour. They were sitting at a table in the mess hall when I went in there to eat. Nobody even talked to them, including me, an avid Vikings fan. Life has a way of sorting out what is worth worrying about and what isn't. They were playing a game, we were trying to survive. They were already lucky, we were trying to get lucky enough to go home and have a life. I was lucky, several weren't.
I love my Vikings football but it is meaningless compared to what these unfortunate people in California are enduring.
Thanks for pointing that out purple.
