Why are receivers wide open every time Detroit needs a play?
No Murphy and we've gotten zero pressure on Goff. We can bitch about Mullens but for the second week in a row this defense has given up big plays and now 30+ at home in a game we have to have
Yup, absolutely zero pressure all game.
I made the comment couple of days ago how Goff would pick apart the Flores defense in the 4th quarter by throwing underneath stuff at will and I was called out about it.  He made it look easy against this porous defense.

Pin this on KOC. 16 yards rushing and Mullens, who is a turnover machine, dropping back all day long.

Man. Mullens is what he is… a backup. Makes some plays, but the dude just doesnt protect the football.

Kind of have to throw when you’re down 2 scores and our entire team is injured.

We were up and winning at one point and most of the game was within a score. Our inability to run the football and the lack of any kind of commitment to run the ball has killed us and contributed to all the turnovers. When you constantly put career backups who turn the ball over in position to turn the ball over....the result is as expected

The Lions would like to thank Old St Nick Mullens for his generosity this Christmas season…!  Wink B)

It appears Nick Mullens greatest liability is understanding situational football.  Granted he is late, off target, throws wobbly balls and lacks mobility out of the pocket but jeez no force on 1st and 10 with a chance to win.  Get rid of football or take a sack but don't get caught in nowhere vill, and give Jefferson a chance which he wasn't doing in the first half.  It feels like Mullens has ZERO ability to process presnap game situation that a competent backup should at minimum be able to ascertain and have available in the form of mental memory so that he could concentrate on fixing other intangibles.

In short, it's Hall time
