Sam Monson has never liked Kirk Cousins. Ever. It doesn't matter what Kirk has done, he downplays it.
Yep, it's bias on his part. Like I've been down on Kirk, but like I've said repeatedly this season Big Kirko has won me over. Love his aggressiveness this season, it's the difference between winning these close games and coming up short. Instead of going for game tie-ing drives, we're pretty much going for game winning drives.
Also Rosenthal has been a Vikings hater for awhile. Not sure why, but they can all kiss Kirk's Chainz.
BOOM
That and his movement in the pocket has been huge this year. His willingness to slide, step up and deliver has made many plays where in the past he would have turtled.
And honestly, I even don't mind the sack every now and then. Even I'll scream at him for holding the ball too long sometimes. He does. But I think that's a part of being more aggressive. Some of these routes are slower developing and he's not afraid to sit back there, trust his line, even maybe when he shouldn't, and let them develop. Even if he occasionally takes a sack, many of those have turned into big plays downfield.
I was shitting a brick on the 2 pt. conversion because he was holding it, going through his progressions and shit was getting tight in the pocket. And pow, right in the numbers for Hock.....

One of the biggest problems for young QBs is they "feel" pressure even when they have a clean pocket. Mond was that way. Ponder was that way. Kirk doesn't have that problem. He doesn't see ghosts.
ghosts... hell half the time he doesnt see angry 290 pound men coming full speed at him full of ill intentions. B)
Dumbasses gotta dumbass. They don't want to give him credit.

This^
I’ve been a Kirk fan from day one. Not because I thought he was so great, but because first he was the Vikings QB, second he seems like a good dude, and third, everyone was hating on him. It’s easy to be a fan of the underdog.
This season, I see a bad ass who is willing to take a hit, gets back up and runs another play. He scrambles more, he lowers his head and fights for that extra yard.
He doesn’t point the finger, even if he wants to (Jalen Reagor!!!). He’s a guy who has been told that throwing INT’s is part of being aggressive, and he’s not afraid of throwing it up there.
The Kirk haters are gonna hate! I choose to just be a fan of his.
Hell, I was a fan of Ponder! Until I wasn’t! Haha
I'm not going to say I'm a Cousins hater as I like Cousins for all the reasons Riphawkins listed, but I get the criticisms and will argue for that side at times. That said, I struggle how they could get a did nothing take for this game. The first half woes are on a lot of things, but not really on Cousins. The second half was just the passing game on display and how would Cousins not be a key factor of that?

You are not allowed to be objective, you have to be all one way or the other on this matter.
