Like I said earlier, there's probably a reason he's been on 13 teams. That said, Vikings could be hoping the injury allows him to clear waivers to put him on the PS or IR. 

Just don't know who our backup DT is then. It's not like Twyman, Lynch or Bullard blew anyone away this summer.

Agreed. I think they still have plans for McGill, just want to him to clear waivers first. We are all rooting for Twyman but he's not going to be on the final roster.
