How's everyone feeling about tonight?

I can't help but feel negative.......With last season and the preseason they leave me no choice.

We're not exactly riding a high going into the season.

That said, I'd love to see Zim unleash the hounds on Brees, and AP. I want to see the Defense that demolished Cam so badly that Eli was throwing way early the following week (he was throwing so early to avoid the rush it was almost comical).

I'd like to see Smith sent on a blitz and get a little payback for the time he was ejected for touching a ref after slinging Brees to the ground (I hope my memory is right on this one).

I'd also love to see Bradford get some time to sling the ball... I'd like to see Treadwell be the guy we thought he was... Diggs to be the emotional leader on offense... Thielen to do all of the dirty work... Cook to dance, dance... Gone!

Maybe watch our RBs in pass protection...

I will be absolutely glued to the TV, I just have a short fuse after last year!

About the same level of nervousness as Don Knotts portrayed regularly.

quite nervous but glad the season is finally here.  Not sure what to expect but I hope the Vikings exceed what ever expectations I may have had in a good way.

I'll feel a lot better after we score on our opening drive and force Brees into three and out on his, effectively taking the taste of last year's collapse and the utterly toothless preseason starting offensive and defensive performances out of our mouths. Here's hoping we've been waiting for the regular season to unleash the REAL Vikings.

I seem to lack any positive expectation at this point, which probably means the Vikings will win handily. But that would be a surprise to me.

45 years now...the '70s were great, but I've learned.....we will lose on National TV...in some new, sick and twisted, freak play...
