The irritating thing that alot of kickers do, Joseph is one and I believe Bailey did this also is they get out there and swing their arm up from the spot of the ball at 90 degrees simulating the trajectory of the ball going through the uprights.  Then they kick it left or right.

On the KFAN broadcast Paul Allen is screaming that the kick was good then you can hear Bercich tell him it was no good...funny stuff.
PA was apologizing for that on Monday,  apparently their press box was at the far end and PA went off of some fans reactions that were wearing Vikings gear.  One fan that was at the game even called in and admitted he was one of them that was initially cheering but admitted himself that he couldn't see the ball and was going off reaction of others.  I am guessing there were some drunk fans that forgot they were at an away game so when the home fans started cheering they just went along with it.
Again, to each their own but I'm not a Paul Allen fan. He doesn't call a good game. He's late with his play by play consistently. Beyond the schtick....not even addressing that, he's subpar as a football announcer. JMO.

Play by play as a whole has gone down hill in the last 20 years imo.  They don't seem to prepare like they used to do they can't paint that picture for the listener.

0/2 makes Sunday pretty much a "must win" imo...

From 1990 to 2019, only 12 percent of teams to go 0-2 made the playoffs.
By comparison, 62 percent of teams with a 2-0 record made the postseason, according to USA Today. However, according to OddShark, this percentage had dropped to 54 percent since 2007. All these numbers are under the 12-team playoff format, which no longer exists.
There are two key differences when it comes to this season and future seasons for 0-2 teams hoping to make the playoff. The bracket has expanded to 14 teams, which occurred in 2020 and looks like it will be here to stay. Last season, all 11 teams that started 0-2 failed to make the playoffs. Additionally, 2021 brings the addition of a 17th game. That will surely create more intrigue late in the season with teams jockeying for the final playoff spots.

Since 1980, only 3.4% of teams to start 0-3 made the playoffs Expanded NFL playoff format will probably change these odds.

77% chance the Vikings dont make the play-offs:
Where are the Vikings going in the playoff? The Vikings playoff picture table presents the probabilities that the Vikings will win each playoff spot. All future unplayed games are assumed won/lost with a probability based upon relative team strengths.

can you imagine the shit show this place would have been had kirk thrown an int or cook put it on the ground. We were within range. The kicker fucked the pooch.
I agree.  If everyone does their job, the Vikes leave AZ with a W.  Joseph missed two kicks, and AZ's kicker made them all including one from 62.  If Joseph makes the kicks, then all is well and the Cards are losers.  He missed, so we're losers and the Cards are awesome.

Plenty of blame to go around for the actual team members but yeah if I was on the road and PA is screaming we made the kick, only to then say he missed it... I'd be so pissed lol.
If Greg Joseph "only had one job", then PA certainly only had one (even easier) job. Yikes

There’s a lot of people that can look at themselves and say,
if I only did a little better, we would have won.  I don’t see a strong need to try to pick out
the one person, but if I did I think Zimmer needs to stop playing the odds or
whatever he’s doing and he needs to come out and try to dominate the other
team.  Stop getting conservative with a
lead, keep doing what’s working, prepare for when they counter you.  Just plan to dominate every play.  I think you should be able to trust Cousins
and Cook to not turn the ball over late in the game.  Maybe you have to explicitly tell them to be
extra careful with the ball, IDK, or make sure to leave X amount of seconds
left or whatever.  I think that running
another play or two to make it mentally easier for the kicker who’s been here 2
weeks has to be better than sitting on your hands, letting the clock run down
35 seconds and putting the entire game on his shoulders instead of on the
shoulders of your playmakers.  Just stop playing
not to lose, and play to win.
