my money is on Commanders but I too like the Washington Football Team

They feel like a old video game team who didnt give the rights, which for the Washington ownership, seems about right

I dont know what it would be but I'm surprised their marketing team was unable to come up with a name finalist that included D & C that way they were Washington DC.

Of all the names in consideration, I like the Washington Defenders best.  But it sounds like an arena league football name.  I would just leave it Washington Football Team to be honest.
