Ravens head coach Jim Haurbaugh said the team would "try and get" wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft.  The draft is the team's last chance to bolster its receiver group after largely striking out in free agency, coming away with an unreliable Sammy Watkins. Baltimore has the 27th pick in the draft. "We'll find certain wide receivers in the draft that fit us. We know who they are," Harbaugh said in a Monday presser. "We've had the meetings. For fantasy purposes, landing in Baltimore's run-first offense wouldn't be ideal for Bateman or Marshall, though both have potential to emerge as the Ravens' No. 1 receiver. would they consider swapping 1sts as a third round pick?  IMO that is as close a perfect solution as there is for both teams,  but Browns insistence on where he plays and getting paid top money are still a concern,  but still having a first round pick would take the sting away pretty quickly...especially since we still have the day 2 ammo to take the later first rounder and move up quite a bit if we saw some guy that we would have considered at 14 still in play in the later teens/ early 20s.

really,  havent they really kicked this tire enough to know what it will take to keep him here?   I would think that would have been kind of a 2 weeks ago type of thing if they had any serious interest at all.  I assumed things were closer than it sounds like they are since you mentioned they had discussions and his price was to steep to pull that trigger already.

The Vikings know what it will take to keep Zeus on an extended contract, its insane what he wants. Its why nobody has made a trade for him. The comp going back to the Ravens was already figured out if a deal were to happen and I can say that's the smallest thing holding it up.

Yeah, the Vikings aren't going to get into the insanity of this. But I'm sure one GM will. This is a dream that Viking's fans should leave behind.

I think the Vikings are probably just going to get their OL from the draft. But there's another LT out there that hasn't really gotten much play. Eric Fisher. Former #1 overall. 2 time Pro Bowler. Just turned 30. He won't be cheap, but he'll be cheaper than Jr. Also, he's a better scheme fit and won't cost any draft capital. If the Vikings want to go defense in the first, just sign the guy. You could do it tomorrow.
