Both these guys are alive in custody, there is a statistical reason for it.  Different treatment than Philandro Castile or Breonna Taylor.

Both these guys are alive in custody, there is a statistical reason for it.  Different treatment than Philandro Castile or Breonna Taylor.

Just a clarification,   an AR15 is not an automatic weapon.  It is a semi automatic so you get 1 round per trigger pull.  Legally owned fully automatic weapons used in crimes are actually pretty rare in the US and require special permits to legally buy and own them.

I say legally owned because changing the laws wouldn't prevent criminals from obtaining them and using them,  and if semi autos are banned I doubt we see that law have any more effect than current laws have on keeping guns out of cities that have them banned or the existing laws that say felons can't have them.

I agree that we need to do something,   but I dont see taking guns away from law abiding citizens as an effective approach.  I could be wrong though.
