McShay just pounding the table for Mac Jones. He's practically turgid.
He dropped a dime in yesterday's practice. I'm tellin ya, I think Mac Jones is gonna stand head and shoulders above all others and be in the running for 3rd QB in the 5-15 range. Course that might change when Trey Lance does his pro day.
That's why I feel like the Vikings should be in on one of these guys. I'm trying to overcome my Alabama QB bias... but it would be damn tough to pass up Lance. Mac Jones might actually be worth a look too.
Saw that throw to McKitty. A beaut. Then a few plays later when the pocket broke down, he looked like a less athletic Bernie Kosar.
I'm extremely hesitant on Mac Jones. Top 3 OL in the country, best WR group in the country, best running back group in the country, and only 1 full year of tape. He may end up being very good, but I cant see reason to draft him in the first round...even if we trade back

All that is true, but I just watch what he looks like when his protection breaks down...and that looks good to me. He's not particularly mobile, but he's got poise in the pocket.
While I'm not going to throw my cat at the TV if we take a QB, I'd prefer we go DL or OL at #14. Just think he's being a little underrated right now.
I have a hunch 3 QBs go top 3, with the Jets and Dolphins dropping down, replaced by either the Lions, Panthers or Broncos. And the 4th QB goes no later than 8th. Vikings should have some good options at #14.
A lot of the early moc's I've seen have Mac Jones going to NE....

Doubt he gets that far if he has a good Senior Bowl. If Lawrence, Fields and Lance go top 5, Jones still got to get past the Lions, Panthers, Broncos, 49ers and Vikings. And the Lions are gonna have ammo to move up from the Stafford trade. And the Broncos have Trader Rick's TradeMaster, George Paton, in Denver.
Hell, this is all 3 months away. So much is going to change.
Ok, Jones showed a bit of quickness today on an off schedule play. I dunno, there was a point last year I thought Fromm would be something. WTF do I know?

Dont get down on yourself...for an entire season Georgia COACHES thought Fromm was better than Fields

Starting to hit Twitter.
One name to remember: Janarius Robinson. 6-5, 266, 7'-3" wingspan. Coach Dre, get your shoe out.
I didn't know much about him until I did ANOTHER mock draft today. Let's say I was pleasantly surprised. Former 4 star recruit, lots of tools in that box.

All the tools, very limited production. Maybe a late day 3 project for Dre.
