mblack, you need to do your homework, you made a false assumption.  Only the evening portion of the DNC was televised which is the part that I watched.  Your assumption was totally wrong and so was Al's.

The link below shows the televised times for each day of the convention.

If you watched all of those speakers in the link you posted then that would mean you did not only watch the Key/main speakers during the evening presentations. It means you listened to all the speakers during that window again yet another contradiction

I thought the DNC presentations were typical for their point of view as frequently expressed in the media.  I listened mostly to the main speakers during the evening presentations, not the total convention.  Being a conservative, they were not likely to change my opinion just as the liberals on this forum were not likely to change their opinion during the RNC.
So if now you are saying you only watched the evening presentation for the DNC and you also stated "It was fair to say I watched both conventions, the way most people that are currently employed.  We watch in the evening when we can" then
  1. Your excuse that you could not provide the DNC speakers you liked because you did not watch the total convention is false because you did not watch the "total" RNC too (based on your statement above that you watched just in the evenings) but you had a full list of speeches you liked from the RNC convention
  2. Most (if not all) of the speeches you liked above from the RNC were in the evening so again if you can like speeches from the RNC you watched in the evening, you should be able to do the same from the DNC since you watched just the evening part too.
So which ever way you slice and dice this you are contradicting yourself.

Wow Mblack, you're really quite an argumentative cuss aren't you.  Again you make statements that are not true.  Dude, I'm a conservative.  I listened respectfully to the DNC presentations but did not make a list of those that I liked because there were zero that I would want to see again.  They were not terrible just not my cup of tea. I have rewatched several of the ones I liked from the RNC but not all.

I confess, I did not watch every minute of either convention with total rapt attention.  Thus, by your definition, I cannot say I watched either convention.  Whatever dude.  LOL  You can have the last word on this meaningless contradiction that has you so bothered.

I have a standing rule of thumb: Would an 8 year old? Then don't expect Trump to.

`I am a bit surprised but they may be waiting until the full story is known relative to Rittenhouse.  I've read that the weapon he used was given to him by a Kenosha store owner to protect his store, not transported across state lines.  I've also read that multiple weapons were fired around the same time and there is a possibility of a self defense claim.  I obviously don't know the full story and will personally wait till all the facts are known.  I can understand a politician waiting if one believes a self defense argument may be possible.  The optics are bad with today's environment of decide immediately with limited information.  We don't know what the police have found in their investigations and reviewing of videos.

Which is what any logical person would do. But as we know, logic has no part in this administration - only emotional reactions that play to his base at the expense of dividing the country.

Now how do you feel that Trump already sided with the white kid before the facts played out? Kinda like siding against the Central Park 5 before trial, calling for the death penalty?  And I agree, the optics are indeed bad.

Care to guess the common denominator at work who he chooses to side with vs against?

He is a racist piece of shit appealing to the same.
