Placeholder For CB And Safety Prospects

A name for 2021. The dude stood out vs Georgia. Was the best player on the field and it wasn't close.

Pro Football Focus credited South Carolina junior DB Israel Mukuamu with just 19 receptions allowed in 286 snaps versus SEC competition. The SEC was absolutely loaded with star WRs in 2019, so Mukuamu (6'4/198) being able to hold his own so effectively is quite the feat. At 19 receptions versus SEC competition, Mukuamu allowed roughly just two receptions per game, 13 of which were fewer than nine yards down the field. Mukuamu also recorded a three-interception game on the road against Georgia last season, one of which he returned for an INT. With another strong year, Mukuamu has a real shot at being the top CB in the 2021 draft class.

Here's how the 2020 CB prospects performed in coverage last year per
@PFF. CBs in the bottom left did the best.

It's worth noting that C.J. Henderson was much better in 2018 (50% completions, 6.9 YPT).

8 3/8" hands?

Can he palm a cue ball? Everything else is really good. Day 3 is what I see in the Sims.

Since I posted about him in my last mock draft I am going to claim I liked him before he was cool  Wink

But I really think with some good coaching, Robinson has everything you need in an outside corner. Very underrated prospect with a high ceiling.

This is good data but I feel like it needs to incorporate attempted targets. But I like that is pumps up my guy Jaylon Johnson.

Great chart, thanks for posting.   Certainly Makes me pause though when looking at Henderson and Terrell’s data points.
