Why do all Republicans act like there is no case for obstruction of justice?  No evidence that Trump and White House ignored subpoenas?  WH blocked Bolton, Mulvaney, Pence, and others from testifying.

If it was such a perfect call why are they afraid to testify?

Willful ignorance by GOP pretending the POTUS is king and Congress has no right to oversight, acting like all the witnesses  who testified under oath didnt have conversations with the people the White House refused to put on the stand.

So much for the law and order party.
Because the house process was an embarrassment to the senses.  Why would anybody accused cooperate with a process that was so partial.  The fact that these things dont seem to follow any sort of organized due process makes the whole thing a joke.
Because it is the law??

Congress provides oversight to the executive branch.

Are you saying that a sitting President can ignore any and all subpoenas and can block his staff from testifying because he doesn’t like the people investigating him?

Quite a precedent you want to set.

Don’t like the rules?  Republicans wrote and voted in the process, now GOP is pouting like children Dems are using them.

America is not a dictatorship but that is exactly what Republicans are saying they want:  no oversight, no checks and balances, no answering subpoenas, welcoming election meddling from foreign countries.

What happened to you guys?
I have no problem with going after illegal acts by trump,  find one and go after it.  But the way the dems ran the process is a sad joke.

This  has nothing to do with checks and balances and has to do with eliteists pouting over the fact that they lost.

As much as the dems cry about trump being an embarrassment to the country,  their handling of the defeat and 3 years and counting attempts to sabotage his presidency is the real embarrassment and it will reflected in the next election imo.
what about the process was such an issue?

Trump declined being involved so not sure why GOP screams about process yet they voted it in.

The crimes are being covered up because WH refused to let aids testify and release evidence.

Why is it all the people who swore under oath what they heard and were told are lying but the ones who refuse to take an oath are telling the truth?
Typically due process allows both sides of an  issue to be able to bring witnesses to support their positions.
Jimmy there is no due process at an impeachment inquiry.  It isn’t a criminal court case.  That is what frustrating you guys don’t understand the process and just repeat GOP talking points.

Again, this is how Republicans voted to structure the process ... all the bellyaching is over following the rules created and voted on by the GOP.

Trump had an opportunity to bring evidence and declined.

Due process is something that should be afforded to anyone being accused of something.  Making it up as you go is a joke and is what the dems have been doing since day one.
Do you understand how a grand jury works?  Same concept - no due process.  The defense has more options AFTER charges are filed.  That is how impeachment inquiry in the House works, to determine if there is enough evidence to bring charges to the Senate.

Trump had an opportunity to testify and/or present evidence.  He declined.

Crying about not being invited to a party after declining the invitation makes no sense.  And dude not being a dick here but  you keep repeating due process while not understanding that is not how it works either with a grand jury nor with impeachment inquiry at the House level.

Don’t like the rules, not my fault.

LMAO

Now they wont send it to the Senate because the Senate wants more evidence!

There was exactly no evidence.  No crime.  So why did they impeach?

Stay tuned for Durham.

Google is your friend

Pence
Mulvaney
Esper
Vought
Pompeo
Bolton

All refused to supply information and/or testify for things they were subpoenaed for.

So how do you reconcile a lack of evidence when GOP stonewalls - read:  OBSTRUCTS - the investigation by refusing to hand over evidence and refusing to testify.  Are Presidents now kings, beyond reproach and above the law?  This is the legal precedent you boys want to set for the future??

Kinda funny how A1 can claim no evidence when it’s being withheld illegally by Trump’s administration.

HAHA Newsweek is now evidence.

So you admit they impeached without evidence?

Clearly there is no rush ... they won’t turn it over to the Senate.

The House could have gone to Supreme Court challenging executice privilege to get the “evidence”.  But didn’t claiming time was of the essence.

But that is the remedy!

Clown show.

The evidence of obstruction is crystal clear.

Not sure what part of refusing to comply with subpoenas to testify and/or release evidence you don’t understand.

Smaller words?  Type slower?  Have someone explain it to you?

You are wrong.

Congress can subpoena the executive branch.  The executive branch can ignore based in privilege.  Congress can seek redress with the SCOTUS.

When a president fails to act on a SC order, it is obstruction.

Learn the law.

That link says they have until Friday to decide.  So that article does not list anything that was ignored because it's posted on Monday and says the White House has until Friday to decide what to do... so the deadline was not reached during that article.

I watched the House debate and one representative held up a large bundle of "replies" to subpoenas and said something like this.  Here are the answers to every subpoena, just because you don't like the answer.... doesn't mean that they were ignored.

Did you see that?   I did.  I'm going to try to find it to post here so if you haven't seen it you will be able to, not that I want to watch that again but it seems important to you that subpoenas are not ignored and I want to show you that they were not so you can rest a bit easier.

There are three branches of government.  The third branch is used to settle things between the other two IF they start to act like "kings or dictators"...   Not journalists... not non elected pencil pushers...  not billionaire donors, but the Judicial Branch of our government.  Most people know this... I'm not sure why the current Democrats in the House think they have more power than the other two branches.  To call Trump's use of the courts to settle things "an abuse of power" when it's his right to do so.... seems like an abuse of power, something the media is more than happy to run with.

Presidents are not entitled to claim executive privilege on everything they want, it is intended for CONFIDENTIAL communications.

Much of these communications do not pose a national security risk to testify or release.

Trump is abusing this angle to paint everything that could possibly incriminate him with a broad brush as untouchable.

It’s not hard to figure out what he is doing.  You just choose to blindly support this pathetic excuse because you all know what he did was wrong.

If this was a “perfect call” why wouldn’t you allow people to testify and release the evidence?

Oh and 1987 since you spell like a middle school kid, you are going to have a tough time convincing anyone about your legal knowledge.
