The one thing I cant understand with the Trump supporters is this....
Put every issue aside be it ... Clinton, Russia, Climate, shady deals etc....
Every person that has ever run for president provided their tax returns to the public. I mean EVERY presidential candidate except Trump. Have the trump supporters ever wondered:
  1.  Why Trump has never produced his tax returns?
  2. Why he lied that he would produce them after the so called audit?
  3. Why he is going at any length to prevent the taxes from being public?
Every rational being, would do all in their power to clear their name if they were being accused of something they did not do.
I always resort to this because everything you mention to them is a hoax and some deep state conspiracy.
what are you expecting to see in his tax returns?
That's a great question.... nothing. It was not a "thing" till he refused to show them and made it a thing. Like I said... every candidate did. You have to wonder why he is not and also going to great lengths to make sure they never go public.
personally... i think he is doing it to screw with his haters... its just like obama and his fucking birth certificate bull shit,  he could have shut that shit down early and quickly,  but he let it be a thing for a long time because it drove some of his haters nuts.

if there was anything wrong in his tax returns,  the irs would have been all up his ass IMO prior to the election.   the worst thing will be that it will show that he doesnt pay shit in taxes... but honestly,  who pays more than they have to according to law?  Buffet is a die hard dem and he himself says he spends as much as he has to on lawyers and accountants to pay as little as he has to according to the laws.

as far as the height thing, i never heard anything about that, its the small hands thing that I thought was funny as shit....of course I have huge hands so????
Agree, if there is anything Trump is good at its that he's the king of trolling.

The problem with complete fucking idiots is that they don't know they're complete fucking idiots. They're impervious to criticism, learning, etc.

He'll remain a complete fucking idiot because it's easier for him.
you both are out of this discussion.  this place will be kept civil or it wont be kept.  take some time off on  the subject and cool down before re-engaging.

if anybody wants to join them,  retaliate and the results will be the same.

KB & A1 both PM'd me...and they're sorry & both realize  you were right to give them a hiatus.

A1's agreed to not say "cockmonkeys" again.
KB's agreed not to call A1 a "complete fucking idiot".

If I vouch for them, will you let em back?   Smile

this is the title, apparently you have to subscribe to NY Times site so unfortunate.

Title: Shoot Migrants’ Legs, Build Alligator Moat: Behind Trump’s Ideas for Border

snip of article

WASHINGTON — The Oval Office meeting this past March began, as so many had, with President Trump fuming about migrants. But this time he had a solution. As White House advisers listened astonished, he ordered them to shut down the entire 2,000-mile border with Mexico — by noon the next day.

The advisers feared the president’s edict would trap American tourists in Mexico, strand children at schools on both sides of the border and create an economic meltdown in two countries. Yet they also knew how much the president’s zeal to stop immigration had sent him lurching for solutions, one more extreme than the next.

Privately, the president had often talked about fortifying a border wall with a water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators, prompting aides to seek a cost estimate. He wanted the wall electrified, with spikes on top that could pierce human flesh. After publicly suggesting that soldiers shoot migrants if they threw rocks, the president backed off when his staff told him that was illegal. But later in a meeting, aides recalled, he suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. That’s not allowed either, they told him.

Just came to post this. And this right here is why the media is so full of shit. Its quite possible something like this was said in jest but anyone who thinks this is real is only kidding themselves.

I can only assume you're being sarcastic. Trump has been nothing but a statesman for two years. A shining example of leadership, decency and grace. Because of that, I assume that the only reason he doesn't release his returns is because there is nothing in them and that kind of revelation would clearly embarrass his enemies. I can't see a man of his stature taking that kind of cheap shot...I mean, if there's nothing to see....

Quote:Trump Agriculture Secretary: No guarantee small farms will survivePresident Donald Trump’s agriculture secretary, Sonny Perdue, said Tuesday during a stop in Wisconsin that it’s getting harder for farmers to get by ... “In America, the big get bigger and the small go out,” Perdue said. “I don’t think in America ... we have a guaranteed income or guaranteed profitability.”

Perdue’s visit comes as Wisconsin dairy farmers are wrestling with a host of problems,
including declining milk prices, rising suicide rates, the transition from family farms to large corporate farms with thousands of animals, and Trump’s international trade wars.

Wisconsin, which touts itself as America’s Dairyland on its license plates, has lost 551 dairy farms in 2019
after losing 638 in 2018
and 465 in 2017,
according to data from the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Jerry Volenec, a fifth generation Wisconsin dairy farmer with 330 cows, left the Perdue event feeling discouraged about his future. “What I heard today from the secretary of agriculture is there’s no place for me,” Volenec told reporters.

Perdue held a town hall meeting with farmers to kick off the farm expo. The former Georgia governor tried to charm the crowd with his southern accent and jokes about getting swiped in the face by a cow’s tail.

How is this news?  Come on Mike. I expect more out of you. First you beleive aliggators and now this?  Family farms are in decline??  LOL no shit. Thats like Jon Madden saying if they had only scored more points they would have won.

Ive never been able to get photos to paste with my phone but its about 3 screen scrolls down. Wi or any other states dairy farms have been in sharp decline since mechanized agriculture happened.

In fact if you went only by data you could say the rate by which family farms are exiting the market has slowed under Trump because frankly we’re running out of people to exit.

too bad many of these farmers do not support renewable power policy, if they did, they can get a living off of their property for years to come (usually 25 at the minimum).

dairy is dead. thank god

The mods can kick me out of this thread but Fuck Off, my folks are one of those family dairy farms.  They've been struggling with low prices, long hours and aging bodies for decades.  Dairy isn't going anywhere.  Consolidated yes, but gone, no.

The solar deals when you actually get into them are not what they seem.  We've dissected several between my folks, FIL/MIL and aunts and uncles etc.  There is a revenue stream....unless the company sells it...or goes bankrupt...or just quits...or any number of outs for the solar company.  Meanwhile you've got who knows how many acres tied up with solar panels that have a shelf life and need to be removed and disposed of properly because I can guarantee you that "Solar Kings Pie in the Sky Revenue Stream LLC" wont be there 25 years from now.
