Rams getting figured out...

I'd also say that 49ers D is for real.  They have a bunch of young, strong dudes that flat out get after it.
I really like Kyle Shanahan. I think he's an excellent coach.

No Gurley=Greatly reduced Play Action Passing Game.

When Todd is making Defenses focus on him Goff can go PAP and at times have all day to find his WRs and TEs.

Gurley is no longer the threat he was once and as BN mentioned they lost some key pieces to that Line.

Same thing happening here in Kansas City. Rushing attack lost a lot of bite when Hunt was let go and the O-Line has regressed.

O I think the defensive changes inside of the 15 second mark have a lot to do with it.  I have heard this from a number of analysts that all say that this is a game changer until Goff learns to read defenses better pre snap.

Belichick was the first to figure them out, wasn't he?
Or did the Bears show Belichick how to do it?
Pretty sure it was Belicheat. What I had heard was the Lambs coaches were communicating exactly what was happening/who to throw to/blitzs etc etc through the helmet communication but that it gets cut off at 15 seconds on the play clock. So on D as long as you dont show your hand to the coaches and make Goff actuallly play QB youre good to go.
Actually Zimmer figured that out a few years ago when we beat them in Minnesota back in 17?  That showed that Goff was just a product of the coaches that year.

Last year the Bears shut them down (one of the good video breakdown guys did a feature on it) and they gave Goff the short stuff but he wouldn't take it, trying to force it deep and have several INTs.  Remember who Goff was year 1.  It wasn't just Fisher that was the issue.  McVay has hidden Goff's shortcomings, but given film, defenses will figure it out.

Kansas City has been struggling as well, it is hard for a team to stay on top as teams adjust.  New England is really the only team that has been able to stay consistent, although playing in the NFL's weakest division over the past 10 years has really helped them.
