its actually a pretty team friendly deal. but yes he is under contract for 3 or 4 more years IIRC.... but if he is going to pout and become a distraction...how friendly is that contract?

Yeah..If thats the case (no pun intended) I just don't get that.  A franchise has been good to you.  Even though your numbers are down, that's not his fault.  You're well respected by the fan base , players, coaches & franchise...

So..your QB is under fire from all angles (literally and figuratively) and you're gonna yelp?  Maybe help your teammate work through it?

It's a different age, I guess I'm just too old.

What if it's the Coach and he doesn't see anyone helping him work through it?

^^^^^ It's ultimately the coaches team, if there is an issue and it messes up the chemistry / dynamics, that's his call......BUT......would you trade a proven productive player to appease one that HASNT been productive?  I wouldn't.

Craziness. The rumors really picked up when he tweeted out an emoji. Most of Diggs' tweets (not retweets) are random. Who knows what he's referring to when he just tweets out "Lol"? Anyway, the emoji tweet seemed like typical Diggs but most of the responses were fans begging him to come to the Patriots, Raiders, etc.

He tweets something then people make up their own narrative.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports one team has been informed that Stefon Diggs will not be traded.Diggs did not practice on Wednesday and posted odd things on social media, which had fans speculating things were going on behind closed doors. To add to the fire, Diggs and Adam Thielen haven't met expectations in 2019 with Kirk Cousins struggling and with the team running the ball at a higher rate, but the Vikings have no incentive to trade their highly-paid receiver. Diggs' participation in practice is worth monitoring for the rest of the week, however, after appearing to be playing through an injury last Sunday.

Most of us feel NFL players are paid and treated well  - but they compare themselves to NBA players and want to have that level of money and power. Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown wanted out of Pittsburgh, Odell Beckham bitched his way out of New York, Jalen Ramsey is trying to force a trade. IF Diggs is posturing to leave, it’s because he thinks he has the power to do so. If Jimmy Butler or Kawhi Leonard acted like this, would it be a surprise?

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Vikings are adamant that Stefon Diggs isn't available for a trade, barring some massive deal.
Rapsheet noted that Diggs' frustration with the organization has been palpable. The Vikings' stud WR seemingly skipped practice on Wednesday, as he was listed as a DNP for non-injury reasons. Diggs averaged 9.9 targets per game in 2018, but that mark has dipped to just 4.8 through four weeks. 55 (!!!) WRs have more targets than Diggs this season. The Vikings' pass offense is set up about as well as possible for a rebound this week against a Giants defense that has allowed 8.2 net yards per pass attempt this season. Only the Dolphins (9.7) have been worse.
