Bought a reconditioned iPhone 6 nearly 3 years ago, replaced the battery in it last summer. I wont buy anything new anymore when it comes to a phone.

I am able to use my iPad at work, and use that almost exclusively at home.
How much did it cost?
I paid $180 for the phone and the battery replacement cost me $50 ($10 off the battery for being a USW member)

Did you get the battery done at one of those vendors that fix phones, or Apple?

There is a place by me called, U Break I Fix. It’s a chain, they do it while you wait.

That's exactly how my kid has been doing it too...Re-furb's.

For my work a smartphone is crucial...

Oh yeah, if my job was dependent on a smart phone, I would definitely have a new model.

My wife keeps saying she needs a new one, but her iPhone 6 keeps on working, so she hasn’t upgraded hers for a while either.

Not having that extra $30 per phone added to the bill is nice. Leaves more money for Whiskey.
