Really glad to hear he's doing better and is ready to rejoin the team.  Wishing him and his family nothing but the best going forward.

It's great to hear that he is ready to return to the team. I'm also impressed with how well this situation has been handled. It will be good for Everson to get back into a normal routine and it will be interesting whenever he is ready to talk about his issues.

Needs to start getting back to a normal routine. He can open up to his teammates as well. That will help him too. Wonder how long before he's ready to suit up?
I wonder too.  If he has three good days of practice, I wonder if he'd get some snaps as soon as Sunday night.

This is fantastic news for the team.  Hope Griff has a better handle on all of this moving forward.

It would be awesome if he could get some snaps against the Saints, but even just being back with the team is a huge step for him. I hope he can manage things better going forward too, but that will be a big challenge and the Vikings and his family will need to have a plan in place if things get worse. Very stressful for everyone involved, but I'm happy to see things on track for a positive outcome.

I don't see why he couldn't start right away. Players that are hurt aren't practicing for a few weeks then come back and practice a week and play. I am sure he is still in shape.

The nature of it is this will be a long term recovery. Possibly a lifetime. Mental health is not like mending broken bones or a surgery. Recovery time can vary and there's always a possibility of a relapse. Returning to a normal routine is just step one. Testing ones ability to deal with the stresses of the normal routine is step two.

The word is that Griffen has a decent shot at being active this Sunday night against the Saints.
