Oakland WR Amari Cooper traded to Dallas

Bad deal for both teams.  Cooper not worth a 1st, Oakland sending a bad message to the team they've thrown in the towel already.
I think that message was already sent when they got rid of Mack. At this point, if teams want to offer them first round picks for guys, they will (and should) definitely take them.
They're burning it down to build it back up in Vegas. Chucky's on a 10 year contract so he's cozy enough to make these moves. Almost any other first year Head Coach wouldn't be able to do these deals but he can I guess. Any players that don't fall in line will be out.

They aren't catching KC or LAC this year and free agents don't want to sign for a team with no stadium. May as well put all their eggs into the draft basket.
This approach will definitely have consequences with their organizational culture, but basing this on where they are today, I think it's a good deal for Oakland.

@FSU, who are you seeing on the OL? I know the Badgers have a couple guys highly rated, at least early...the DL is a watershed type year...insane amount of talent potentially coming out...

Sounds like the Eagles were interested too...but Jerruah paid too much...he's basically locked into giving him $14 million plus for a guy who for whatever reason is regressing...

Btw, does Oakland have anyone the Vikings should be targeting on the cheap?
Maybe we can pick the bones for some more OL help if Compton is out?

Just looking at early mocks and seeing a lot of O-Line guys. Makes sense. Nobody saw Price, Ragnow, etc. going that high when you simply cannot definitely say they were better in college than Elf.

Draft pundits and myself are in agreement that O-Linemen and in particular Guards and Centers will continue to go higher than they have historically because of how spotty Line play has been around the League.

But yes, maybe an All Timer for the D-Line.

Clemson might put 4 DL men in the first...Bosa and Gary...I've never seen so many top notch DL prospects

Dak Prescott is not a franchise QB, the Cowboys are finding that out. He's not going to carry a team, come back from behind and put up many 375+ yard games. Like many mid-tier guys, he can be productive with enough support.

I agree. There’s so many I expect some good players will fall through the scouting cracks. Throughout college football the talent is outstanding.

Thats good cause we may need a 3t if they can't/don't keep Richardson, Linval is in his 9th year now? And nobody knows what will happen with EG.
