We Look Sloppy
#11
Don't know which is worse the offials killing the defense or listening to the Jag crew call the game. However anyway you slice it you get to the garbage this games became.

Yes, score is meaningless.  Win, loose, or draw, it doesn't matter.

Terrible roughing the passer call!

Man, we are loosing players like crazy.  Back up full back now.
We need to start protecting all the players and not just the QB's.  Time to play flag football.

Told you it might be a shit show. Minnesota has 3 starting offensive linemen out, that's all we need to know. Good teams will shut that weak sauce down. Minnesota needs Remmers and Elflein back now and I think you'll see that. Its preseason, expect them to be eased back and then in Week 1, fully healthy outside of Easton and the dominate the 49ers. Today was blip on the radar that nobody noticed.

This team is very good....but they need that O-line a go. Its coming and it will get better. Preseason football is dipshitFest.

That wasn't a 'good team', it was a GREAT Defense. D-Flip had to keep it vanilla, too. That's not even remotely what a real game scheme would like. Just generic runs and pass plays.

Contrast that with the Jags who were specifically game planning to hamper the Vikings Pass Rush with their Starters, who played the whole half.

The backups asserted their will against the #3 Defense, albeit minus Miller. They couldn't make hay against the #2 Defense. Not sure how that adds up to shutting weak sauce down as few teams are at that level Defensively.

Now the Special Teams on the other hand. 2 weeks in a row with multiple gaffes. Lots of young dudes having to step in. Could be a work in progress.

What got me was just sloppy ball.  Stupid penalties, dropped passes that hit people in the hands, poor throws, poor play against screens, just sloppy play.  Not what I was hoping to see when we matched up against a good defense.
I thought the Jags did a better job on things like blowing up our few screens although too stopped themselves or failed to stop us with stupid penalties.
