Horrible. I'm guessing heart attack. Its rough, but you have to try and take care of yourself somewhat. But regardless, its a tragedy.

People don't want to hear it but you need to take care of your body. Being overweight and having a family history of either heart disease or other ailments means being extra diligent. Do what it takes to be around. No excuses. Just try your best.

this is so sad.  my dad went at 56 as well.  Its a life changing event for the family and a huge blow to the Vikings organization. RIP Tony Sparano. He died getting ready to go to church.  A Sunday.  The day of the week when he shined the most. Im saying a prayer for his family and his players.

I'd have to agree, but they both suck for sure. I lost my mom unexpectedly when she was 49 from an Aorta burst. Sudden, swift and painless for her thank goodness. I was 26 at the time and boy, were we close. I miss her still 30+ years later. I buried one of my best friends when he was 56 from Glioblastoma - watched him go down hilll and suffer for 14 mos. 

Yup, they both suck.
