Peterson will TRY to play as long as possible and with ANY team that willing to take him.  It's all about padding those numbers and stats at this point in his career.

I think its always been about padding his stats in his career.  I loved watching him run,  but IMO AD has always been about getting his personal goals and not so much about helping the team improve and win.

mini camps and otas are over around the league and AD is still a free agent.   If you are a GM with need at RB would you give him a call knowing his limitations and production his last few years?

I have to say even if Cook and Murray werent able to go... I wouldnt bother with AD again.  his limited upside at his age and ability doesnt outweigh the limitations his game would put on an offense.  IMO its time for him to walk off into the sunset gracefully and not be that desperate guy that makes absurd claims every time a RB gets hurt or every offseason that he thinks he can still play at a pro level.
i think Flip could actually get some mileage out if him ala Lagarrette Blount last year

I wondered about that,  but I think Flip will be using the gun a fair amount and then we are back to that issue.  I think ADs skills have diminished to the point that it would be detrimental to the offense to cater to his strengths and he is pretty much a bust if the QB isnt under center.  it would be pretty telling if KC suddenly goes under center when ever AD was on the field and we ran it.

The only team that should sign him is the Vikings....sign a one day contract...retire as a Viking...
He can wait for his HOF induction and his place in the Vikings Ring of Honor...
Its time AD for you to start enjoying retirement...
Look what the cat dragged in...  Wink B) Hi Fano!
