CBSSports: Shaky start for Cousins
#11
Meh it's practice. They have to work the kinks out. I would rather have him be salty and want to work on things than be indifferent. Good things take time and effort.

This is the guy the Vikings REALLY wanted to stick with....but that knee....

I am really wondering how this all plays out.  I am not sure which qb I am pulling for more, Case, Sam or Teddy.  Unless they are playing the Vikes of course.
A nice look at the inside of Bradford.

I'm going with meh myself. Practice, pre-season none of it matters. Remember the 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in "practice" one year.

The local media talks about Rodgers and how he tends to throw more interceptions early in the off-season...  he's testing his WRs to see who will make plays on 50-50 balls and try to figure out what he can get away with against certain types of coverage/defensive alignments.

I'm not worried about this at all.  I'd rather have Cousins figure out who he can trust in the red zone now instead of when the games really count.

He eats breakfast 300 yards from 4000 cheesheads who are trained to hate him, so don't think for one second that you can come in here, flash an uninformed sports article, and make him nervous.

Judge Randolph: You don't have to answer that question! Col. Jessup: YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Col. Jessup: Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it?

about 10 years ago I had an epic cut up from that scene in a thread.... it just fit perfect... one of my favorite movies to quote... along with Tombstone, Major League, Hurt for Red October, and Real Genius.

LOL...  who is Alfred?  This one flew right over my head...  :-D
I really think Cousins is in an ideal situation to flourish.  Top 5 defense, playmakers on offense, solid offensive.  He's one of the best play-action passers in the NFL and just so happens to go to a team with a HC that likes to run the football and work the play-action passing game off of that.  The Vikings brought in Flip as the OC because he is known for QB development and being successful in the red zone.
I mean this team plays right into Cousins strengths and we brought in an offensive coordinator who should help him with his weaknesses.  I'm drinking the Kool-Aid.  Join me brother!!!
