Sam to dress for NO, no word on Teddy

With the overall health of everyone on the team, I'd be shocked if they dress 3 QB's for the game.  There's too many other positions that NEED the protection of a backup on the sideline more.
I'd be surprised as well. Not trying to read into anything too much, but if Bridgewater is inactive, doesn't that tell you the organization might be moving on from him? If you're saying Bradford gives us a better chance to win if Keenum goes down than Teddy, then why the hell sign Teddy next year?
I guess it is a short term vs long term issue.

Bradford might be good to go for a few games this year, but with his age and history, he might not be a long term solution.

Teddy might not be ready now, but might be a viable solution ling term.

My opinion - Teddy doesn't have a future in the NFL.  I'd go with Case and sloter.  Sign Bradford if he is healthy unless we steal a good prospect in draft
JMO, but that short term-long term logic doesn't make sense. This is bad news for Bridgewater as a Viking if this is true. If Teddy wasn't ready, they wouldn't have activated him as the #2 during the season. The only thing that has changed since TB was active is that Bradford is now 'ready' to play....and the rumor is he'll dress. And if he dresses, why keep 3 QBs active for a playoff game? Doesn't make sense. What this says to me, and maybe only me, is that the team feels like Sam is the better backup option and could win the game if Keenum gets injured.

Now this is still a rumor at this point. But if it holds true, I just don't see TB being a part of the equation for the 2018 regular season. Again, JMO.
One I agree with.

How does a guy in Boston scoop the locals?  I think I'll wait for independent local confirmation not retweets or references to this one guy.

Interesting rumor and likely to get lots of clicks.  Sort of doubt it tho, but who knows with all the twists and turns at our QB spot.

One thing that gives me pause, the Vikings did not get Teddy any time against the Bears.  I know the score was maybe too close.  But one has to wonder how the knee responded after the Cinci game.  Or was it just a "get Teddy his return, ovation and be done with it"?  Now we are preparing for the playoffs and focused.

I think it’s almost certain that we’ll dress all 3 QBs
rather than a backup at a different position, just in the weird case that the
first two QBs go down.

Wait...we're jumping to ALL these conclusions based on an assumption that the Vikings won't dress 3 QBs? I don't know one way or the other, but I think it might be wise to dress all three. And if so, I would guess the pecking order to be Case, Teddy and Sam. If Case goes down, or blows up, you're suddenly in a playoff game led by a QB with a reconstructed knee and no backup. That 3rd QB might be more valuable than whatever 3rd TE or 6th LB we might want to dress.

I don't think they would be moving on from him if they were to have Teddy inactive. To me, that just means that Bradford is ready for the now.
I think anyone could see that Teddy needs an offseason and TC to really have a chance to come back. He isn't ready for a big plate right now IMO. He may never be. I know what I saw when he trotted onto the field and tried to play. A player that favored his leg and didn't trust it at all.

Maybe the Vikings are expecting another bountygate. We just might need 3 QB's

I just don't agree with that. He got the 100% green light to return....he was the #2 QB for how many weeks now once returning? He was a Keenum injury away from being the starter. Bradford hasn't seen game action in a longer time than Teddy. The Vikings wouldn't have put him in harm's way unless he was ready.

I don't know if this rumor has any truth to it at all (Bradford dressing), but if it does (a big if IMO) and Bradford is the backup and Teddy is inactive, its a HUGE tell. How can it not be? The bigger story is the very likely fact that Teddy is the 3rd best QB on this team currently.

I personally think that Case is the best QB we have and he is starting. We are 13-3. The rest will take care of itself after the season.
I just don't think its that big of a tell. I just think the playoffs isn't the time to experiment if Teddy is ready for live action or not. Offseason and preseason is for that.
