This fucking idiot isn't transparent, he's trying to get out in front of something he should have seen when it was happening.  That's why this family isn't built for the game..... Their still playing in the little league..... no biggly for them.
So the problem is that some families arent as experienced in playing outside the rules than others and you are going to accept one over the other?

Oh the Trumps absolutely know how to color outside the lines, their as shady as it comes,  but the game their in is above their capabilities.  They should stick to ripping off contractors.
Yep...when it comes to true criminal behavior they are in way over their heads... better leave that to the royal American political families.  That what we all want for our country... oh wait...no it wasnt.

That seemed to be the premise of your previous comment about the trumps "not being built for the game"  as though their inability to separate themselves from the shit that is loosely associated with all politicians is a sign that the other turds are better fit for the job.

The Clinton Kennedys Bushs etc etc all would have made the same decisions,  the difference is they would have used lackeys and kept their hands clean.  Same shit different punchbowl.

I haven't been paying too much attention to this, because it seems pretty set that Seth Rich leaked all the stuff about Hillary.  What's the actual law that people are claiming was violated?  It has to be more than 'accepting "anything of value ... in connection with" an election from a foreign national.'  right?  Wouldn't Hillary's pay to play scandal be involved in the same conversation.  How would you separate all the stuff that was donated to her foundation by foreigners and ensure it didn't get mixed in with anything election related?

Also on a side note, is it illegal (our law) for us to interfere with other countries elections?

In all the focus on the smoking gun, the media seems to be burying the lede. The real story here is a confirmation of what so many of us feared in the run up to the election: we were electing a man with serious vulnerabilities. His ego and narcissism, and obsession with "winning," made him especially vulnerable to manipulation from foreign governments. I'm convinced this is what made him attractive to Putin.

Remember, Putin's specialty when he was with the KGB was manipulating people. By using irresistible bait to lure victims into compromising positions, he could get them to do anything. The "honey trap." Well, that's sorta what's happening here.

Now, a conversation about adoption policy isn't going to hurt anyone, but Putin could've seen this as a test on a small scale. A test the White House, with honey dripping from its face, failed miserably.

Or maybe putin wanted to see if he could  buy nuclear material from a trump administration

I think you might be onto something there, Jimmy.

Or, in the case of the Kennedys, they just went to Russia directly and straight-up asked, "Hey, could you screw with our Presidental election? We'll make it worth your time if we win."

I don't remember a whole lot about the 1984 elections (since I turned 8 in 1984), but I'd be willing to go out on a limb and guess there wasn't nearly this level of outrage about it. Because Kennedys.

Lest we also forget Millard Fillmore

According to his biographer, Scarry: "No president of the United States ... has suffered as much ridicule as Millard Fillmore".[153]
He ascribed much of the abuse to a tendency to denigrate the presidents
who served in the years just prior to the Civil War as lacking in
leadership. For example, later president Harry Truman
"characterized Fillmore as a weak, trivial thumb-twaddler who would do
nothing to offend anyone", responsible in part for the war.[154] Anna Prior, writing in The Wall Street Journal in 2010, stated that Fillmore's very name connotes mediocrity.[155]
Another Fillmore biographer, Finkelman, commented, "on the central
issues of the age his vision was myopic and his legacy is worse ... in
the end, Fillmore was always on the wrong side of the great moral and
political issues".

So first the talking points for the right was "it's all bullshit, a media fabrication." Now it seems to be "hey, Russia, it's OK that you interfered with our election process, we've done it, too. No harm no foul." It's like "Hey Kim Jong Douche, it's OK if you drop a nuke, we've done it, too."

I can't believe God, guns and glory, America-first conservatives are bending over backwards to indict America in their attempts to exonerate Russia. Because Trump.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure all Russia wants is to promote democracy and human rights around the world.
