Too bad the election happened. Would have been a better season as one site.

Nice fish - way to go! We don't have those up here in ND and Minnesota. Are these good "eaters"?

Great to see your "Random Ramblings" again, Sassy! It's been too long. Glad to hear that life has swung in a great direction with your move. I drove through Kingman on my way to the Grand Canyon in May...unique little place for sure! We stayed in Laughlin/Bullhead City and had a blast. We had a wonderful time in Arizona and I definitely want to go back. My next stops hopefully will be Lake Havasu, Sedona, and Flagstaff. Northern AZ is probably one of the most beautiful places I have EVER been!
That pic of Don is wonderful...what a whopper! I've caught a few of those stripers in my day but not that big! He looks over the moon in that pic!! Sounds like it's fishing heaven up in that neck of the woods which is the absolute perfect place for you and family. It has been a fun season so far in Vikingland, and I'm so glad that you've taken time to stop in and give an update. I think about you and the family often and I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! Blessings to you, Sassy! Edit: I have to correct my post--I haven't caught a striped bass, I've caught WHITE bass....ugghhh...I think some folks around these parts call them striped bass but they are not; hence, it was not correct of me to say I've caught a striper lol...

Glad to hear you are living life to the fullest. Every day is a blessing

Quote: @HappyViking said:We weren't too sure. Had both good and bad reviews. Cooked some a couple nights ago. Lightly floured (with some seasoning) and fried in butter......it was AWESOME!! Even better than the smallies we've been catching. I don't think there is a fish in that river that would not taste good (well, except for carp) as it is constantly clean, clear and crisp water!!!

Good to hear from you, Sass. Sounds as if you and your family's life is settling down after what I'm sure has been very unsettling. Good news for sure and continued good luck in the future.
It's too bad about the the TV. AXSTV is semi-new channel. I DVRed a 2 hour documentary on Bad Company that is awesome (I know you love Paul Rodgers). Lots of older footage and stories behind the songs. Now go kick back and listen to some Three Dog Night.

Awesome hearing from you, especially about your good fortunes! Have an amazeballs Christmas and New Years!

Good to hear from you. You are missed around here.
Merry Christmas and may your New Year be filled with Joy! BTW, the Roku device does have the Vikings App if you haven’t run across it yet. All the pressers and highlights, along with BRob’s 96 Questions. |
