Alright, the EO doesn't specifically establish "wellness farms".....yet. That quote comes from RFK in July of 2024. The EO does absolutely name drugs that I take:
"The executive order explicitly calls on the commission to evaluate the prescription rates of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, stimulants and weight-loss medications, along with the potential threats those prescriptions pose."
Dachau was Germany's first concentration camp and the camp future camps would be modeled after. I've been able to visit, pray, honor and cry for the victims of said camp twice in my life. You might not know that the original camp never had a recorded gassing death....obviously, what other camps would be known for. Many awful things did happened there though, but it was primarily a work camp. Prisoners were worked to death on starvation rations effectively removing people deemed undesirable from the population. Germany wanted to get every bit of energy out of those poor souls before they died though. When the victims did died they were cremated and their ashes rained down on the surrounding areas. Dachau fences sit maybe 50 yards at most from residential housing? There's a 7-10' creek and a road that separates the two. The citizens of Munich/Dachau absolutely knew the horrors happening there and either approved or were too scared to do anything about it.
Dear Viking board. I am absolutely right of center politically. I self describe as a libertarian. I've been to Republican rallies. I've attended Regan dinner fundraisers. I've campaigned for libertarian leaning Republicans. There is some CRAZY SHIT being said by Trump and his appointees. There should be no place in any administration for an appointee who thinks establishing "wellness farms" is ok. This isn't the liberal media twisting words. Please take off the red glasses.

Oh for f@ck sakes. How do we get from the idea of voluntary wellness camps to battle drug addictions to German death camps? Doesn't the Nazi stuff get old? I'm not a RFK fan but he is willing to buck big Pharma. My guess is he'll be pretty confined with what he can do by the Administration. They're clearly aware that some of his previous ideas are out there. Working to stem the tide of addiction and obesity, better control of additives and working to reduce prescription drug costs would go a long way in my mind to being successful.

You somehow believe that the more adjectives that you add to your arguments helps to make your point. All it does is tarnish any credibility in a person's argument to have to add a ton of bluster and anger in every post in addition to fabrications. That's the area you live in and it's somewhat comical. Nobody can read your blather and actually feel like you're informed. You're like the lady screaming no on Inauguration Day 2017, a big joke for all to enjoy for years at a time.

This douche nozzle thinks setting up work farms for any reason is ok. The illegal drugs listed first are not optional the way I read what was said.
Yeah, you should be concerned with any government official suggesting we set up work farms for whomever they deem undesirable.

Seems to me people could benefit from that type of thing. Perhaps, someone like you even. I wouldn't just dismiss it. It's much less crazy than supporting cold blooded murderers. You try to act like he's the one with radical views. lol

Again...not a big RFK fan so not going to defend his comments in July...but having read them...it's more hippie commune than...Nazi death camp.
Here's what he said in July when he was running against Biden:
“I’m going to create these wellness farms where they can go to get off of illegal drugs, off of opiates, but also illegal drugs, other psychiatric drugs, if they want to, to get off of SSRIs, to get off of benzos, to get off of Adderall, and to spend time as much time as they need—three or four years if they need it—to learn to get reparented, to reconnect with communities.” The farm residents would grow their own organic food because, he suggested, many of their underlying problems could be “food-related.”
That seems a big stretch to compare to Dachau.

C'mon WB. I'm on Adderall so I understand the underlying issues that AGR was bringing up. Although, I think it's fair to question things...unlike what was allowed to happen for the Covid vaccines. Most of these will surely stand up to that scrutiny. I also think there are cases where these drugs don't need to be prescribed...particularly with kids. I take my Adderall as sparingly as possible but I have that advantage to be able to do that. I understand the concern, however.
It's just the jump to forced labor camps that I was reacting to.
AGR..I'm about the same as you politically. Libertarian small government guy. Voted for Trump this time around mainly because WI was a swing state and I was scared to death of 4 years of Biden/Harris.

I wonder how much of the issue we see is not the message intent, its where people are getting the message from how that intent is being manipulated?
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

In all honesty, I’m not against rehabilitation programs that he speaks of as long as they’re voluntary. More than that, nah. But as opposed to prison time, perhaps. AGR has made light of people murdering innocent victims, but it doesn’t really apply here, and I shouldn’t make light of it.

Got my info from a couple different sources. It showed up on Reddit first (3ish days ago?) from a mother jones article. Then Reuters and Yahoo had an article if I remember correctly.
Both Reddit and especially mother jones are liberal and hardcore liberal respectively.
That’s why I pulled the quotes directly.
I need my medication. Without it my brain would fry itself quite quickly. I’ve seen longterm untreated epilepsy and it’s not good. Anyone threatening my health can fuck right off.

As Trump would say: "He who saves his Country does not violate any Law,"

DOGE is already getting massive protests, drug out for illegal processes and a seeming fetish with sensitive American data. This has been constant slew of headlines across the news world (minus those with the orange hues around their nostils), and given the arrogance of the twosome responsible...I keep sayin', it's just beginning.
They've both made piles of money, so now it's about power and massive influence. While I'm gonna enjoy the sputtering and denials from the "Make America God AWful" crews in the future, the damage being done to actual American lives is not anything humorous, whatsoever.
How much worse does it need to get beyond ignorantly dismissing a bunch of people responsible for our nuclear arsenal, followed by another sheepish backpedaling? Seriously, f***ing up the nuke personnel situation...I kinda triple-dog-dare the orange/VIPS bois' defenders to deny that they'd demand everyone to be fired/jailed, were they from the dnc.
Wait, we failed to protect our QB in big games, again?
MAYBE THERE'S A LESSON HERE.
