Its lost on me why McCarthy would be high on the Bears list...

Unless they think he can do an excellent job bringing Caleb along?

I sure hope they hire him. Add one more link to the long chain of bad and failed coaches they have hired to add to their long line of bad QB's!

Wouldn't we want to go after a guy like Saleh, assuming he doesn't get a HC this year?  Why Lou?

I actually like Saleh very much as well, my top 2. Lou is an excellent D-coordinator, highly respected around the league. He's the scapegoat for this year's horrible Bengals D but they were ranked 6th just 2 years ago under him.

So is that it for Black Monday??

Looking at the playoff teams, I dont see a HC on the chopping block or on thin ice.

IF thats the case, this seems like a very unique year re: lack of head coaching changes.

Seriously?  I don't understand how the Bears can fire a head coach after a losing season and want to hire another coach after a losing season.  Where's the logic in this?

I thought he was going to be ok...

Brady must have given him a thumbs down?

They'll get a new coach and probably a new QB. I could see Sam going there with the right coach/scheme/Brady.

Titans fire GM Ran Carthon. Keep head coach Brian Callahan.
