That's what a great coach does, takes the blame for his players not executing.

He is absolutely part of the blame. There was both poor execution and poor playcalling. He held himself accountable too, that's what a great coach does

And JJ said the players left a lot of yards and points on the field against the Jets...

Honestly complaining about play calling is such a fan thing to do.  Didn't see anyone praising Kevin when the offense is clicking...

I'm sure Kevin wished he called a few plays differently based on what the Jets defense did at certain points of the game, but the other team is trying to win too.  I saw more bad execution than bad play calls.

The only decision I would give KOC any blame for is passing on the early FG when it was 10-0 to go for it on 4th and 2.  Jets have a good defense, you don't have your 'home' crowd, it was a lot of travel leading up to the game, and it felt like one of those games where points would be a premium.

The call I was most impressed with was the wheel route for Jones when Mullens went in for one play: just a decent throw would have scored a TD. I know, I know, Mullens was cold. But Jones bailed him out with that catch because he was WIDE OPEN. I also think that was play that Jones hurt himself on.
