I think the only thing we can say for sure about the Packers is that they have their QB.

Which by far is the hardest thing to figure out.  It sucks that they've gone 30 years with HOF play and seem to have not missed a beat this year.

Yes it is. It's 90% of the battle. You gotta have a QB and it looks like they have one.

Harsh but as of this moment true. Thankfully things can change quickly in the NFL. By the start of next season hopefully our arrow will be pointing up again. I think it will.

As of this moment, yes. But it's mostly about the QB. The Lions have a good one and it appears the Packers do too. But neither of them is as good as Cousins IMO. So if we're able to re-sign Cousins and then draft the QBOTF to back him up for a year, then I think we move back to the top of that list. There isn't a team in the division that boasts a better QB/WR/WR/TE.

Vikings are the biggest disappointment in the league win/loss wise. No team had a bigger dip from 23.

Ok. But you understand why, right? Man the board is full of gloomy Gus's today!

Yeah I’m not sure how anyone could argue comet’s assessment. Injuries caused a lot of the downfall for sure but that doesn’t help considering 2 of the 4 players in our vaunted QB WR WR TE lineup are seriously hurt, and one is a free agent.

I hope Kirk is amenable to a two year deal, especially if Flores comes bach. One year for me is a tough sell since he might start on PUP. So $35M for half or 2/3s of a season seems dicey. And 3 years is also a non-starter for me due to age. Much rather get off the ride too soon than too late. I don’t want us to be Pittsburgh trotting a totally washed Big Ben because we failed to prepare.
