Kudos to the Vikings medical staff. Acute compartment syndrome is difficult to recognize and diagnose. It is a true medical emergency. There is a six hour window to treat this with fasciotomy before the muscle nerves and tissue in the compartment begin to die. Diagnosed and treated early there is a very good prognosis providing there are no complications.
It will take awhile to heal, but I would expect a full recovery.

I'm glad they took him to the hospital rather than sending him home.
This is every bit the emergency that Teddy had.

I practiced medicine for about 3 decades before retiring and only saw acute compartment syndrome once. Thank God it was on my list of differential diagnosis and early surgery prevented potential loss of limb or even death.

Prayers for a quick and full recovery.
