Like the players said last night, gotta get in the mindset for the Pukers, one win means nothing one game later.

I'd like to think that the Vikings are finally gelling, after looking very "off" to start the season. I was expecting teething problems with the new defense, but the turnovers and drops...yeah, that needed attending.

Hopefully, that's getting handled.

IF it is, then the Vikings should be in good shape going forward: our offense can produce while awaiting JJ's return, our defense gets better each week, and our coaching staff is growing into their (still fairly new) roles nicely.  I have to believe that we're up to the Green Bay/Love challenge.

Okay all the gelling and coming together is great, but is there some sub-media schism things going on?  Any speculation with the Chris Rumph PTO on Saturday?  Don't think he was a Brian Flores choice.

The team will need more of this:

That was kind of the revelation for me last night.   He had the right plan to attack the Niners D and the team executed it.   A really smart, effective strategy in fact.   I don't know if this is just some lucky outlier or the start of some improvement because up until now, his calls and decisions have had me thinking he's the wrong guy at h.c.   I guess we'll see what happens going forward.   I'm reluctant to take one good game and jump on a drunken bandwagon of oh boy we're comin' now but if he called that good of a game every week we'd win 10 games or more even with the slow start.

Defensive line coach to sudden personal time off two days before the game.

But keep in mind the only difference betwen the 49ers game and the games against the Chiefs, Chargers and Eagles was that the Vikings didn't shoot themselves in the foot more than the other team.

That's two assistants on the same side of the ball...

Something aint right, way too coincidental.

Been watching this league since the 70's and never seen that b4 .

Not sure either, just wondering if there is any speculation going on in the motherland.  I expected a more aggressive defense this year, they are improved but not what I anticipated.  Kind of a disheartening, actually, thought they were just under performing last year, but that may have just been playing closer to their potential.

Ahhh, no.   KOC was not calling great games in those contests, he was looking like he didn't know what he was doing.  There was a clear difference last night.  Also Kirk pretty much played the game of his life.
