Kicked ass on 3rd down efficiency this game and maybe got stopped at the goal line but still walked away with more points than Frisco.
Yep, wasn't perfect but kept making plays when required. Nice to see the fans at U.S. Bank get back into it, lots of opposing fans at the stadium both last night and against the Chiefs.

Big win. If you want to nitpick somehow this win, I guess go ahead? Otherwise its a big W on prime time against a very good opponent.
I suppose I could have waited until tomorrow to make a separate thread, but the point remains that in my opinion this type of win isn't a sustainable model for success. We simply have to find ways to create a respectable run game, and have to impose our will in in short yardage/red zone situations to become a consistent and balanced offensive threat. It would be one thing if our pass game was opening up the run game, but it's not. Being one dimensional will eventually lead to disaster. Nitpicking or tempering the euphoria...I'm a Vikes fan who's seen this movie...lol

Oh I don't trust anything yet. Far from it. But I will live week to week....and this week was a very good win against a very good team. They are crawling back into it and their upcoming schedule isn't overpowering. But it could all turn into an exploding shitpile on Sunday. Maybe they can make more of the season interesting, that's my hope.

I thought it they ended-up with an L it would definitely be because of their ineptitude in the red zone.  Left a lot of points out there.

And yes, the Vikings are terrible running the ball this year - both in attempts and success at it. They knew it was an issue coming into this year and their attempt at a fix has been poor at best.

Ive also been watching enough football over the decades to know how you win week/week will look different. I'll enjoy this week in a year void of much joy - and hope they dont piss down their legs vs GB.

The 23 squad hasn't earned my trust, in the least.

Very fun.

Honestly, it was a poor throw by Kirk. He had him open without it being contested. But he felt the heat in the pocket, I think. Its why DBs aren't WRers, thank goodness.

I think we need to factor in what defense we played against. This wasn't a bottom tier, or even a mid. I honestly expected to see us put up single digits. Also, I think Akers is going to make our run game better every week. I am wondering about Ham though. Is he off doing Captain stuff? Cuz it seems like we really could use a fullback on those goal line carries.

I'll never forget this game....I won $1337 on a 3 way parlaySmile and my Vikings won!  Needed Addison to be the initial TD scorer, Cousins 2 TD's and KJ to have over 40 yds.  KJ was stuck at 39 yards late in the 4th and then his final pass went for 8 yards....was sweating bullets.  ChaChing!

Was a $25 bet with 3500 odds and a 50% profit payout.
