Impossible to know yet where they'll draft, but I doubt its top 5. Lots of shitty teams this year it seems.
But some of those shitty teams already have their current QBOTF and would likely be willing trade partners,   Carolina is one im thinking of.
I'm on board, man. I want the best QBOTF as we can get in this upcoming Draft. Who that is, hard to say, but it obviously won't be Caleb. That's fine, get the next best thing and let's roll.
We need to start selling,   accumulate draft capital so we can get more tickets in the player lottery and free up more cap space.  It's gonna take more than one offseason to get this thing righted, but the more they have, hopefully the quicker it gets done.
Hunter is the only asset we have unless you’re willing to part with OL?  Kirko isn’t going anywhere. Jefferson is the face of the franchise.

I'd see if a contender were interested in Harrison Smith, but yeah we don't have a lot of assets we could trade off for draft capital otherwise.

Just my opinion, but I think there's a good chance we lose the next two weeks at Chicago and home against the 49ers, putting us at 1-6. The NFL trade deadline is October 31st. I can almost guarantee there will be teams calling on Cousins and Hunter. What do we do at that point? The "competitive rebuild" is a joke and front office is going to have some decisions to make

Well, it was fun but which QB we picking?  We’ll be 1-5 after next week. We’re for sure out of the playoffs.

We likely don’t resign Kirko even though he’s played damn well.

Its time for a new identity.

damn well, perhaps, but not damn well enough.I would take McCarthy from Michigan.
Going from MSU to a UofM QB is an upgrade...

At that point. I’m fine with trading Kirko if he waives his no trade clause. You’re only getting a day 3 pick oit of it though.

Hunter might go for a 2nd at this point?

Smith, maybe a day 3?

Your only assets worth meaningful draft picks are Onneil, Darrisaw and Jefferson.

Hunter is 28 and tied for the league lead in sacks. If Kwesi can't get a 1st for him from a contending team, he should be fired

Can't see why they would.  I don't think they are thinking they're just a QB away from competing for a SB so why give up on the Risner experiment.  He actually played relatively well yesterday.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a team that could make such a trade make sense.  Maybe if a team that thinks they are in it loses their QB for the season...so just break Brock Purdy's leg when the Niners come to town. :p

Ridder had been awful up until yesterday. I think they have a pretty good roster otherwise and that division is ripe for the taking. I think they would make sense along with the Jets still
