It's Jaren Hall time imo.  You play him the rest of the way and see if he has anything.  Trade to Kirk to the Jets.  I watched them today vs. the Pats and I watched quite a bit of Zach Wilson last year.  He's utterly hopeless and hasn't improved.  They have the roster to win now with nothing more than competence at qb.  Kirk would give them that and more.

Of course since we gave Kirk that stupid no trade clause he could torpedo it, but why?  To stay here and go 6-11?  We at least can get something for him and help position ourselves to draft a qb next year, versus getting nothing and finishing well below .500 anyway.

If the alleged braintrust over at TCO can't figure this out, this team has no hope.  It's headed for the NFL dustbin for many years to come with the way KAM/KOC have performed.  Getting lucky for half a season last year really masked the deficiencies but they are on display.

The leverage to get value out of the Jets will never be higher than it is right this moment, so get off your asses and do something instead of sitting there feeding us shit about competitive rebuilds and quiet minds, you overpaid purple fuckwits.

Thing with KOC and Kwesi is that not only have neither seemed to have grown into their positions, it becomes clearer with each passing day that their pedigree was tied to their past successful organizations, one of which was built on beach sand, and in Kwesi's case he  probably contributed as much as the T-shirt cannon operator with Clev. and SF.

KOC seems to just follow a worn out McVay recipe regardless of personnel and Kwesi is just going to continue the corporate, fake it til you make it approach that got him in every door of his career so far.

Listen.....this team is suffering big time on D and the O-line. Same thing as last year. Cousins is getting PTSD from getting hit so much, you can see it in his play and when he comes to the sideline to argue with KOC. Flores can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Packers and Lions win. KOC's play calling has me really shaking my head sometimes for the first time. I see a real lack of confidence and in this game, desperation.

Time to blow it up. The 'competitive rebuild' didn't work.
Start with Kwesi...
we are going to hire an new gm every year?

Think its still way too early for that.  i assume you mean trade Kirk/ Hunter/Hitman and stop trying to win?   maybe if we are 2-7 and losing to the Pack or Bears i could see those type of moves. WAYYY to early to talk about KOC or KAM.

If we are in a bad position after 8 or 9 games i think we should try to position ourselves for a QB, by any means necessary.  There are several great prospects coming out this year  If we do end up sucking or close to it, Kirk has to go and we need to pay JJ and Darrisaw and try to build with a QB and IOL and  DIL. The final piece being KAM must go for it for with a QB, by whatever capital is necessary and he pretty much needs to nail it

2 most tradable players have no trade clause. This team has no o line or defensive depth. Draft picks alone wont help next year unless these players step up.

Why? I just want a competent one that shows he doesn't need to grow into the job for 3 years before he makes a move that looks like he knows where the scouting office is, or understands the principles of negotiating a deal in the NFL.

I honestly don't think Kirk will be traded, no matter what. And I think the vast majority of 'blowing it up' will come in the offseason, not during this season. Is Minnesota better than 0-3? Probably, without the ridiculous amount of turnovers. But you can also say they aren't going to be competitive with the best  teams in each conference because of that D and the O-line issues. Herbert did whatever he wanted yesterday. Ingram is garbage.

I don't expect the organization to overtly and aggressively start to leave behind the 'competitive rebuild' at any point this season....but I think that will be the strategy come season's end. I'm absolutely not calling for KAM or KOC's head, I don't want that. I have more faith in KOC than KAM, but they both deserve more time unquestionably. Listen, I'm not losing my mind and calling for dumb shit like a complete house cleaning. But the strategy has to change,

Yep. There won’t be a midseason teardown simply because that never happens in the NFL. MLB sure but the value just isn’t there for teams to trade off a bunch of assets during the season, even if they want to.

Edit: Agree with giving KAM and KO a lot more time, but drastic change is needed on this roster, like you said.
