Amazing that we will not bring in a solid backup, 7th rounder for Case is a great deal.  Is it that Cousins ego is too fragile for them to have anyone decent behind him.
Feel free to share with us the extensive list of teams with QBs paid as Cousins is. Who put up the numbers he does. And are healthy. Who bring in "competitive " backups.  Some seriously unhealthy obsessions on this board.
Feel free to tell me how we lost the most important game of the year cause we didn't have a competent backup.

Hilarious that a team with one of the best QBs in the league went out and got Case, but you don't think we need him, talk about an unhealthy obsession!

You may have a point on losing an important game, if you know, the theme with Cousins was getting hurt. Talk about grasping at straws. Cousins has been on the injury report ONCE since 2014. He has missed TWO games in his college and Pro Careers as a starter. Backup QB is the absolute least pressing concern this team has since Cousins signed.

Comparing Buffalo to Minnesota is an absolute apples to oranges exercise in futility. You ever watch a Bills game? Allen plays a reckless style of ball when he runs. Takes/gives totally unnecessary hits, something the team has been on him for doing. So ya, when you have a guy like that you need a better back up than most. He is one scramble where he tries to truck someone away from a season ending injury. Not exactly the style Cousins plays. Here's a quote from Beane on Buffalos need at backup QB;

"The only time I ever get on Josh is for taking unnecessary hits," Beane said earlier this offseason. "That's his play style, that's why we love him, but a backup quarterback is very important knowing the way he plays the game."

Who gives a shit why he wasn’t in the game?  The fact is he didn’t play in week 17 at Green Bay and we were blown out due to abysmal backup QB play.  It ended our season, and for a reason many of us saw as pretty much inevitable in preseason when he didn’t get vaccinated.  No spot on an NFL roster should ever be above being improved upon, and a 7th rounder for Case sounds a hell of a lot better to me than resigning Mannion just because he happens to be buddies with Kirk.
The handwringing over a position that has seen action out of necessity one time in four years really highlights the irrational obsession some of you have with Cousins.

7th round pick and a $3.5 million one year contract for a guy unlikely to see the field is brilliant assets management. Especially for a team that just barely got under the cap. Nothing irritational there. Furthermore care to guess what scrub QB that the Bills are about to bring back is good friends with Josh Allen? Matt Barkley.

So his choices on his health has led to him playing virtually every game of his career, but it is your opinion that he should have just took one for the team on an experimental vaccine that was clearly falsely advertised from the outset?  Mkayyyy....  Why don't you get off your high horse at some point?  lol  Every day we find out more and more that the numbers have been essentially made up as they went along so that the govt and big pharma got their way.

not what he was saying and not the place for that lane change.  that horse has been beaten enough and has no place on the football board.
