Its nuts. The secondary play has been really inconsistent. Maddeningly so for Zimmer I'm sure. The thing is Mike isn't a horrible coach. But he's lacking in game strategy on offense, end of half play calling and other important situational things that hurt the Vikings. The bottom line is he's had 8 years and the team is 7-7. Not like he's built a dynasty.
This is it exactly....

Yes the secondary is atrocious and they lost one of their top 2 players in Hunter (Griff too). But its the coaching, game-planning and game decisions that have cost this team.

The most since Frazier was here.

Everyone but Dre should be shown the door come January.

I think the secondary play has been the real downfall of the team the last 2 years.  We went from having 3 solid/all-pro starters in Waynes/Rhodes/Mac to starting rookies and just signed mediocre at best FA.  That isn't going to get it done for any D.

If I had called you in August and said-

The Viking will lead the league in Sacks

and be +7 in TO differential

https://www.espn.in/nfl/stats/team?seasontype=2&view=turnovers

And, that  Cousins will have 29TD's (and 11 TO's thru 14 games)

0% chance you'd have predicted they'd be .500.
Where do you get 11 turnovers?   Cousins has 6 ints and 2 fumbles lost.

6 fumbles lost was the team lost, not Cousins.  My mistake.
