5-1 when Cousins pressured 30% or less.

Boom
And this is the reason they should bolster the OL --if there is a really good prospect there. And there should be.

It would be interesting to see how they stack the OT's vs DE's on their big board. Case could be made for both, but the $ they have invested @ QB would tip the scales for me...

I guess the big unknown in all of this is how much faith they have in existing OL on the roster? Outside of Cleveland and O'Neil they all have pretty big question marks imo.

This is a big year for Bradbury too. He's got to improve his pass-blocking or I'm not convinced he's the long-term answer @ C.
Having good guard play with the addition of Slater or AVT would go a long way in helping Bradbury be an effective center. He is only as good as the weak links next to him which outside of Klein has been some of the worst guard play in the league. I'm still sick to my stomach that they resigned Dozier.

If there, take AVT or Slater. Then trade next year's #1 and other picks to trade into the first round again and draft another. Window of opportunity is closing, go get some OL Rick!

Vikings get Slater.

i can easily see a draft like this, where all five QBs go in the top 13, plus three wides, two corners, Pitts and Parsons, pushing Sewell to 13, where the Chargers absolutely will NOT let him slide further. Vikings need to trade up two spots if they want Sewell. However, Slater is one helluva consolation. Some observers consider him a better prospect. i don't think I'm there yet. Sewell isn't perfect, but his upside is enormous.
I think scouts are a little split if Slater is a NFL guard or tackle?

lol, good thing we need em both!!!

Wonderful! We can cover both needs with one pick.

5-1 when Cousins pressured less than 30%, and a HISTORICALLY bad D.

So, yeah, maybe fixing the OL would provide a lot of bang for your draft dollars.

6 fucking games in 3 fucking years and there is any debate about where our priority should be in this draft?  Who the fuck is running this team with a stat like that?

Yes I've been drinking,  but honestly who else saw that stat and asked WTF is wrong with spielman and Zimmer?  You know damn well they know that number.

Once you have that OL that protects better than that,  you have leverage over the QB,  but not until then.

if Rick does not get this line fixed and I mean just league average he should be fired.  I am sick of it I am done waiting.  I have liked Speilman and think he is a good GM with one blind spot OL.
