Those Funny Boogaloo Bois...

So MB, wonder if the authors of this old July article talked to the police officers and Homeland Security folks in Portland and Seattle?  Totally a proud antifa riot affair in the PNW! Watch the videos, the rioters are not white supremacists or more narrowly nazis as you stated earlier.  I'm not defending the supremacists, rather pointing the finger at the group claiming credit in the PNW.  Can you provide any video or article that supports your position that nazis are behind the Portland and Seattle riots and demonstrations?  If so, please post.
Like I said, Antifa are not saints. My biggest problem with them is that they tend to turn otherwise peaceful BLM demonstrations into destructive events. But there is a false equivalency being drawn here--that Antifa is the left wing equivalent to the far more dangerous groups on the right.

Far right groups are behind a vast majority of domestic terrorist attacks. And when it comes to killing people, there's no comparison. Among murders committed by extreme groups, no matter which year you look at, about 75% are right wing, 20-25%% islamic and 1-3% left wing. A report released this summer showed that in the last 25 years, 329 people have been murdered by right-wing extremists. 0 by anti-fascist groups.

So why is that all we ever hear from Trump is about Antifa? "Somebody’s got to do something about Antifa and the left because this is not a right-wing problem... this is a leftwing problem." He actually said that. Meanwhile, the FBI, whose job it is to actually tell the truth about such things, says the exact opposite of that.

So, there is no evidence that nazis are leading the riots in Portland and Seattle?  Didn't think so but let me know if anything ever shows up to support that point of view.  I do agree that acting out white supremacists and antifa are not a blessing to society.

I have no idea if they're leading the riots there. I know they have a big presence there, so we'll see. But I never brought up Portand and Seattle, you did. We'll see what happens. Racists posing as anti-racists seems to be all the rage.

You wrote "Trumpists bewail Antifa-led violence at BLM protests, but the little Nazis on their own side are almost always behind it."

BLM and Antifa are leading the violence in Portland and Seattle which does not match your statement, especially given the weeks of violence.

Y'al-qaeda, Vanilla ISIS, Meal Team 6, Gravy Seals . .  why don't we call these clowns who threaten to kidnap a state Governor, kill California cops (and try to pin it on BLM), gaslight the Kenosha response, plan to incite a riot in Vegas, and have plans to murder Biden what they are . . .

Terrorists
But sure, let's focus in on Seattle and Portland with all their dangerous building damage

On a related note, have you seen The Trial of the Chicago 7? Best movie I've seen on Netflix in a long long time.

Might want to fact check that.  Several of them were not right-wing, but anarchists.

My comments were directed at MB's statement above.  MB said violence not terrorism and said nazis were behind violence by BLM and Antifa.  There is no evidence of nazis leading the violence in the PNW at Seattle and Portland.  My comment was limited to his statement relative to BLM, antifa, and nazis, per MB's statement.

You're expanding the topic and I will certainly agree that terrorist acts are wrong and need to be addressed.  I am not defending supremacists or other criminal elements relative your above list.

You guys need to really read up on what Black Bloc is and what they do to otherwise peaceful protests and understand that antifa is not a centrally organized group. It is an idea. We are all antif-fascism no? Would you say you are not anti-fascism, or pro-fascism? Of course not.

There are people in this thread that are woefully uninformed and accepting of black and white answers in a very complex time right now. There are often outside agitatirs and agents provocateurs. It happens from “the left” as well at times but it happens much more from the right just like home grown terrorists are mich more frequently from the position of “the right”.

The night that the police station burned down and the days that followed I said it was boogaloo and other people (many from out of state) that were there just to stir up trouble to turn the movement upside down. I knew this because I used to live there and I know people that still live there and were at the scene and saw these people roaming throufh thwir neighborhoods.
