Someone needs to tell Zim we can’t win a game until he quits losing them...!  Confused

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is always a bitter pill...

Vikings remain O'fer vs Wilson

1 win and still in the running for a top pick  :p

What a game by our own Wilson @ lb too

What a season this is turning out to be

I'm torn. I think they should have kicked the field goal. I get trying to play to win the game, but I would rather just done a hard count & went for the FG. The defense just isn't at a point where it can be trusted to win a game.
That's a hindsight thing. If we'd have made it, Zim is a genius. It wasn't a bone-head call. It was probably the right move.

But overall, I've lost faith in Zimmer. Love the guy, but I think he's getting passed by as the game advances.
It definitely is. I think you can also make a case that running shows that he trusted the offense more and wanted to take the game out of the D's hands. There's a logic to it, but it didn't work this time. I do think that the Zimmer can get the D back on track as they have been improving over the course of the season. The bigger concern that I have is with Cousins. He can be good at times, but he had two costly fumbles and an interception today. He has a tendency to implode and we've seen more of imploding Cousins this year than him throwing for 300+ yards and multiple TDs. I'm not on the tank train, but I think they need to find a young QB soon.

Didnt the odds & math support the Zimmer decision at the end of the game?

I still wouldn't have done it like he did.

I think we blew it going for it on 4th down. We could have played the same defense with an 8 point lead. We would have also had a shot at defending two scores or in other words Seattle would have had to score twice just to tie. This is where this math nonsense pisses me off.
Russell was the QB on the other side.
It sucks cos I thought the team played well.
That call literally cost us the game.

I did like going for it on 4th down. I didn't like going for 2 earlier. Oh well it is what it is.

I have to admit, I kinda liked it, too. Vikings were moving the ball well on the ground. Mattison was getting yardage in chunks, but I told my son, as much as we want to get a new set of downs, you gotta kick the field goal here, no matter how much you might want to ram it down their throats. The WORST thing you could do is give the ball back to Wilson with a chance to simply END the game with one throw. It's what he does. It's who he is. And the risk of that was too great. Sure enough, that's exactly what he did.

Vikings played well. Really should've won the game.

Same vs Titans...

Bad teams find ways to lose.

That was bad of me, I really did think this was going to be our 1st win vs Wilson. Am disappointed.

We’re currently sitting on the 5th pick, so there’s that...  Wink
