Even then they probably had the discussion of getting some other positions addressed and sitting down for extensions with ant.

Harris only has 11.441 mil guaranteed for the 2020 season.

He should definitely hold out for a better offer and more guaranteed.

He can hold out if he wants.  Its just one less year he gets paid biggly.  Lets say this turns into Trent Williams.  He holds out this season and gets $0.  He's still under contract and we trade him for what a 3rd-5th rounder and the new team pays him but thats $10M he doesn't put in his pocket.  I think Harris played very well.  I think he beat every expectation I've ever had for him but I also don't think he's some Tier 1 base your D around player.
