At what point would you take a chance on Jalen Hurts?

I would take him Day 2...  off-the-charts intangibles and he does a great job extending plays.  He's Russel Wilson-esque, but Hurts is not as refined a passer as Wilson was when he came out.

I haven't watched much of him this year (2 games and one was against LSU), but he looked like more of a passer than he did at Bama.

Let him sit behind Cousins for a year and see what you have.  Don't put the pressure on him to start right away and we might have ourselves a good young QB in 2021.

I wouldn't mind Hurts, but I think he has to refine his passing a bit. I can see the comparisons a bit to Wilson. Can't Wilson move a little better though?

I like Love a lot more but he'll be taken before Minnesota is comfortable taking a QB. That's my guy from 3 months ago. My thought process is to think about a realistic QB that Minnesota would draft and they won't take one in the first 2 rounds.

Not if they extend Cousins, which it sounds like they might be leaning toward. But if they don't, QB is in play at 25.

Exactly,  if they are extending him then why bother this draft unless a gift falls in their lap,  if they arent extending cousins then they better look earlier than Hurts should be in considerstion IMO.
