Pretty stoked about the draft so far. My top ranked receiver and the corner I had above even CJ Henderson and we still have 12 picks. Loved that we were able to trade down and pick up extra ammo perhaps for a Trent Williams trade? Interesting that our competition for that, the Browns, got their tackle at 10. So they're probably out on that.
Tonight, I wouldn't move up in the 2nd round, but I'd try to turn as many of those day 3 picks into 3rd rounders as possible.
I think we all agree that the heart of this Draft is 20-60. Curious why you want to load up on 3rds unless you're already counting on the Williams trade happening.
Personally, I'm moving up to get my highest rated kid at DE/3T/O-Line. YGM or Epenesa allows Odenigbo to rotate to keep himself and Hunter fresh and the Rookie and Ifeadi can also take turns at 3T on obvious passing downs. Or Gallimore, Blacklock or Madubuike to shore up that nagging 3T issue. Or Jones or Cleveland to play LT or even kick inside to LG.
I gotta get me one of those guys and I don't think whichever one they're the highest on lasts to 58.

I love it! They were just discussing the phone incident on ESPN and the female host goes, "sorry, but if we aren't married...you don't get my phone or password." I completely concur....

I agree, I think landing a 3rd pass rusher is a priority today. The Vikings love to rotate defensive lineman and what they were able to do kicking Griffen inside on pass rush downs won us the playoff game against the Saints with the pressure we were able to generate up the middle. Its why the Saints took Ruiz. It gives our defense options in pass rush packages and thats something we need against the better teams in our conference.
I'm going to start a Day 2 Draft thread that maybe we can start discussing on?

I couldn't agree with you more that New Orleans picking Ruiz was a reactionary move. Which makes it a stupid one. I'm very high on Cesar but WR2 and LB were much bigger needs.

Yeah but it's hugely expensive to move up in the 2nd round. And I'd put the heart of the value lower than that, especially for our positions of need. DBs like Robertson, Holmes, Pride, Burgess. OLs like Bartch, Hunt, Peart. Edges like Taylor, Zuniga...are all 3rd round types. Plus, there will be an enormous amount of WRs who drop into the 3rd and 4th rounds. I don't like the DTs in the 3rd round, though, so maybe that's the pick in the 2nd round if we trade for TW.
Jordan Elliot is my other fav 2nd behind Gallimore
