Q called, said to take it easy.
Your lack of a basic understanding and statistics is troubling. Maybe take a step away from the computer, take a walk outside, breathe in some oxygen
what’s left of it
So now you are saying I don’t have a basic understanding and “statistics is troubling”.
So now some climate “scientist” who makes money off this hoax - knows more. LOL
K.
Q is more real than the climate hoax liars. Run off and milk the money before the ice age comes back.

A1, You posted that you don't post like this on other sites. I'd ask that you kindly refrain from that here as well. I'd also ask that others refrain from the name calling.
This type of discussion is exactly why we had to cut back on the political discourse (or lack of) in the past. I will not host this type of interaction. You can find all of this type of conversation that you need in the bowels of Reddit.
A side comment from me is that I believe all of us would like to claim that we are good Americans. I don't see that on display here in these threads. I see demonizing of each other. If this forum serves only to create division, there is absolutely no longer any need for us to host it on this website.
LMAO
Whatever Mike.
Still waiting for all that inside info your wife had on Trump. Possibly could give great insight on the russian hoax.
Get over who the president is.
And look at the other site. I was an original member here. A mod. You took this site and turned it i to something it wasn’t.
And snowflakes who could have just taken their names off the sensitive topics and not read what was causing them so much pain - that is conservative thought and Trump winning - decided to destroy this site.
The conservatives left.
Let us please get rid of the moral superiority over the bogus climate shit, the russian hoax shit, the obstruction shit, etc.
There was no “shift”. The dems were in the kkk. the dems are racist.
Trump isn’t.
Ban me if you want. But don’t let them attack me. I am not mentally ill. I am not angry. I am extremely close to a world respected economist. Not the fake socialist ones. Savannah can vouch for that.
Conservatives aren’t bad people. And neither is Trump.
And allowing SB to attack Christians.
He is doing a great job, despite the hoax and bullshit lodged at him.
I don’t see any credible liberal admitting the obama administration illegally spied. Or they covered up
Hillary’s crimes.
Stay tuned. You will see the evidence soon.
My wife? WTF?!
The only thing I remember even remotely related to my wife about inside info was when she knew someone working on the kluwe kerfuffle years back. Other than that yeah I knew about a lot of things that were slow to come out in the news. I am still appalled that to a certain percentage of poll respondents those items haven’t changed their minds about the guy. In my opinioon he is a scumbag. But hey at least he hasn’t worn a tan suit.....
And A1 I used you as an example that it is possible to not post insults and be an asshole as you stated that you don’t do that on other sites. I then went on to ask that we all engage in that behavior. But you took it personally.
If anyone said the amazon being on fire proved GW they need to have their head examined. That isn’t how or why the fires started. They were started by people that want to clear the land for agribiz. Brazil is getting more and more calls for soybean production since we are on the sideline at the moment. Where GW or climate change comes into the conversation is that with the current models of where climate is heading, humans shouldn’t be starting ANY forest fires.
no one is saying the amazon fires were caused by gW. the expansive damage of it is excerbated by it. The amazon being on fire was driven by one thing, populist idiots who cut regulations to protect the environment so farmers can grow more soy (to give to animals) or make room for more animals. Either way, this whole process is detrimental to the environment.
loss of oxygen producing land
loss of biodiversity
loss of medicines
increased carbon in the atmosphere
increased soy for animals
more animals producing more co2 and worse methane
all 6 of these points are facts that are no doubt detrimental to us, to the planet. we quickly learned in this discussion who gives a fuck about this and who doesnt

So what should I do about it? What should Trump do about it?
Again, nobody said fired were good. We didn’t start the fires.
But somehow some way its Trump. Stupid shit. Should we pass a law to strongly condemn fires in other countries?
K.
well i never blamed Trump for this (nor did i ever bring up gender) but he can utilize the power of the greatest country in the world and lead the discussion with Brazil
instead letting weaker countries lead the conversation. its not that hard to hold the power of the us, leaders of the free world over other countries. Brazil is literally south america us and its populist leader is fucking insane for this and many other reasons
asking for leadership (that costs us nothing) is obviously too much for us to ask for

Janitor is right: we don't really get along. But I do appreciate his defense.
Unfortunately, this was never intended to be a conversation. It was always intended to be a "bait" post. And it worked. So I'm staying out. Life's too short.
But, before I go, let me remind everyone (because it's already been posted in this thread) that it's already been proven that the whole "Amazon fire proves Global Warming" is "fake news". It was started as a way of attacking someone who doesn't go along with the Climate Change Cult. The "facts" asserted (re: the Amazon fires) have been thoroughly debunked- by Climate change supporters. But, by all means, just because the world didn't end today... that doesn't mean it won't end tomorrow. Keep the faith!
Wha? That is A1J-level batshit nonsense. No one (that I know of anyway) is saying the Amazon fires are "caused" by global warming--Savannah's ridiculous attempt at that strawman notwithstanding. Only that it has the potential to make things much, much worse.
If the rain forest is destroyed. Well, I'll just quote a friend: "If just 25% of the Amazon is destroyed, the whole rainforest ecosystem will collapse. This is because the Amazon rainforest is large enough to create a low-pressure system that pulls in a huge atmospheric river of rainclouds from the ocean onto the land. To put it simply: The Amazon will enter a death spiral and dry out. Weather patterns around the world will change. The climate crisis will get catastrophically worse."
This what we're all taking about.
And please, please no more comparing the profit motive of SCIENTISTS with those in the oil and gas industry, who (if you care to look) are behind EVERY DAMN SINGLE climate denial so-called "factoid" you can find on the internet.
I say this to you only because, unlike some, I think you're a reasonable human. Misguided, maybe, but you're not an idiot. It seems nuts to me that while you seem so willing to accept that other planets are warming, despite the ridiculously scant evidence we have for that, but don't accept that the earth is warming at a greater rate, despite the mountains of evidence we have that it is.
So I'll just leave you with this: the one dude who is more responsible than anyone for this campaign of climate denial, Will Luntz, the marketing man who convinced the GOP (and the Koch Brothers, and the fossil fuel industry) to characterize AGW as "unsettled science" despite the fact that 97% of climate scientists believed it was settled, and is responsible for changing the language from "global warming" to "climate change" so that it would sound less "dire" in political speech.....now says that he was wrong. "I was wrong in 2001," he says. "I don't want credit. I don't want blame. Just stop using something that I wrote 18 years ago because it's not accurate today." Yet his earlier comments continue to drive hundreds of denial sites all over the internet. It's pretty nuts.
If you want a list of the other former deniers who have changed their minds based on the evidence, on the science, let me know. There are quite a few....
LOL that is a great story. But we can’t let it be memorialized as truth.
I remember when we were afraid of the ice age. The data didn’t support that so they called it global warming. But then it didn’t work ... so they altered the old data and called it climate change.
And the staunchest supporters of the CC hoax are the elitists democrats like Streisand, Reiner, Al Gore, Clintons, Prince Charles, and the dems.
But these people have the worst carbon footprint. They need to alter their behavior. I will downsize to a smaller car to save. I don’t litter. I have a small carbon footprint. I speak out against local government actions that hurt the environment. I recycle.
I don’t want to fund this fake science shit. Especially for the benefit of other countries. Or fake liberal “scientists” that pollute out universities.
Sorry.
but how are you “funding” it? How much do we spend on it now? Whats your issue with renewable projects slowly turning from P3 to straight Private transactions as the cost of technology goes down (due to market competition, which means you need people to believe in the science to create a market and the thousands of US high paying jobs)? these renewable projects help out farmers who cant compete in the global landscape especially in dairy (Dairy is dead thank gosh)
we spend $900 billion a year in defense in this country through discretionary spending, we spend $35 billion for the DOE. Yet, the DoD states that climate change is a national threat not only to domestic Us, but international bases and the rise of terrorism as resources become scarce due to climate related events. $35 billion is .007 of the federal budget. That ratio to the US average income is $9 a week, 9 fucking dollars.
so you would prefer that america take this ridiculous stance and what, allow the Chinese to develop technology to be exported around the world, increasing their exports and bilateral trade agreements/alliances?? By doing nothing we look foolish, by fighting it, we leave a void to be filled by China. Caribbean island states, SE Asia, Pakistan, Africa, they want consistent power to augment what they are doing, to stabilize their countries and economies. these are also the major areas of terrorism influence and the first places that shit will hit the fan as temperatures rise. Again, this is a national security issue. If the Americans are sending are best technology created by US minds, we lose.
We lose globally, we lose economically, and we could potentially lose global stability.
if you don’t like money out of your pocket and don’t like elitist, then levy a tax of 1% on the 1% wealthiest americans. That would create a tax revenue 4.5X the amount we spend for the DOE annually.
