I've been hearing a lot about Case "playing out of his mind," or reverting "back to normal." I get where that's coming from but I sorta disagree that he is playing out of his mind. I think this is exactly who Case is. One of the best backups in the NFL whose strengths have been amplified and whose weaknesses have been mitigated by an extraordinary supporting cast. I for one am stoked that we have a backup like Case Keenum. But I'd be lying if I said I'm not SUPER-stoked to see what Teddy freaking Bridgewater, a QB with greater strengths and fewer weakness, would look like in that offense. It may not work out. You never know how a guy will respond after an injury like that. But as Geoff says, "the upside is enormous" and you don't want to drive your Camry to the playoffs without first checking to see if your Lamborghini is back from the shop.
