She was an excellent Broadway actress and apparently one of the sweetest people ever.

She suffered a long time...RIP now.

Yep, part of my childhood. She's been battling cancer for years. A lot of people i grew up watching are leaving us now. That means I'm getting old. Sad part of reality that you don't have when you are younger.

Loved Mary Tyler Moore and Valarie Harper, big part of my childhood. MTM was probably my first tv star crush. I’d watch The Dick Van Dyke show because of her, the The MTM show and then watched Rhoda because i’d watch MTM.

My wife and I have gone to quite a few weddings and funerals the last couple of years. 

The people who are our parents age are slowly passing on and friends of our children are getting married. Those two things to me, are the bigs signs we are getting older.
