You can argue about the players all you want. Far too many times this team lost before the game even started. And we had personnel problems before the year even started and injuries greatly magnified those issues.
Part of me feels like we need tos tick to the steelers organization mentality which is to stick with a coach for a long time. But part of me feels like that sort of investment isn’t something you make with a guy zimmers age.
I said earlier in the year that I thought we had reached our potential with this group. Today solidified that feeling for me. Both SHOULD go, but they'll both be back, unfortunately.
I have a bigger problem with L'il Ricky returning than Zim (although the teams chronic failurein big games has been a disturbing pattern the past 4 years).
13 years, 2 playoff wins (one an absolute fucking miracle). Spin those numbers anyway you want, but the results still SUCK ASS.
I have ZERO confidence in Saint Richard reconfiguring this roster enough in 1 offseason in order to surpass not only their competition in the NFC, but also the LOADED ROSTERS in the AFC, whom the Vikings would have to beat in order to WIN a SB (lol!).
TRUE CHANGE needs to start at the top of ANY organization.
