Vikings coach Mike Zimmer’s savage response on releasing Daniel Carlson
#1
It is quite a blunt response, but the fact of the matter is that Carlson missed all three of his opportunities that could have helped the Vikings grab the win over the Packers.

Savage indeed.

Zimmer says things like they are.  Especially when he is pissed and ESPECIALLY when the media asks him dumb questions.

What did Grant used to say about cutting players? Pretty much applies here.

Everyone who likes working with a coworker who cannot perform his main responsibility, raise their hand.

Yeah, I thought so.

I'm sure the delicate, recent grad flowers at that website are shocked and 'triggered' by Zimmer's matter of factness.

There are 16 games in the regular season. We are 1/8 of the way into it. The guy is like 1 for 4 or something like that. The Vikings are likely doing HIM a favor by not trotting him out there to look more like a lost cause. Give him a year to work on his craft in the offseason and let him try to come back and get on a team next year.
